Downloading CMS50D+ with Sleepyhead

I have tried numerous times to sync my recorded data from last night using my new Contec Pulse Oximeter to Sleepyhead data. I first downloaded the data from the SD card from last nights session then pulled up the data screen, clicked on Oximetery Wizard, connected the USB cable to my computer and it...

Re: Pressure adjustment needed?

New data from last night. Prior to sleeping, I used my Flonase and wore a Breathe-right strip. http://imgur.com/a/hVa0Z

Re: Pressure adjustment needed?

Thanks and I did wake up the same as I do now, prior to Pap therapy. That's what prompted me to have the sleep study. Also, my father passed away at age 59 from an aneurysm and I know he had untreated sleep apnea. He had a study but said he didn't have it. I can remember him gasping for air and extr...

Re: Pressure adjustment needed?

I do wake up a lot. I never sleep more than a couple hours at a time. Do you suppose it's the snoring that wakes me up? I never gave that a thought. I do use Flonase every night before I go to sleep. I work shift work, both days and nights, so I sleep whacky hours. I also have breathe-right nasal st...

Re: Pressure adjustment needed?

Thanks for the comments. I have adjusted my machine over the past 3 months since it was so obvious with headaches, fatigue, etc that my initial pressure wasn't correct. Yes, it's an Auto-Trial and the reason I have chosen 11 is that is the first pressure that I have been at a constant where I don't ...

Pressure adjustment needed?

So I am in my 3rd month of Pap therapy. I have made numerous strides getting to this point based on how poorly my titration sleep study went. My results showed that I needed a pressure of only 6. After 10 restless nights, I joined groups, asked for advice, upped my pressure gradually to where it is ...

Re: Sleepy Head Results

I am generally tired. I never was prior to using my Cpap. I am debating changing the pressure up to at least 7 or 8. I don't think 6 is cutting it. I am not thrilled with the nasal pillows either. My AHI was higher until I started wearing a chin strap. My doctor won't see me until I have been using ...

Re: Which hose hanger should I buy?

I purchased an IV hanger. I got it on eBay for $23, new. You can then adjust the height and your hose will go through the loops and hang down to where you connect the mask.
