Re: No change yet

For me, just a few weeks in, I am waking up less but I also realized that I am feeling just a little more rested. Re: Finally- an appointment with Sleep Doctor

I think the doctor's recommendations are sound. Get up if you can't sleep, increase the settings, etc. I would add that stretching before bed or doing some yoga can help you be more comfortable in bed - one less distraction.

Re: Body Inflammation seems worse with CPAP use

Pugsy, it sounds like you have at least enough interaction with the forum to know what is going on and when it is going bad. I vote for you for Sheriff - because someo...

Re: Especially for newly diagnosed - Dealing with Change

I don't consider the diagnosis to be earth-shattering. It is something I didn't know was wrong with me and now I have a treatment for it. It was a surprise because my husband has severe apnea he has been reluctant to get help for. So I did the test hoping for some help with my insomnia and ended up ...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.

I've been using my CPAP for almost a month now. At first it was difficult - they set the pressure really high with a wide swing. I'd tested as 57 interrupts per hour. But the high pressure was blowing the mask off my face, couldn't keep a seal. So they reduced the top pressure a bit. Though the foll...
