Re: Irritating dentist drill sound from cpap
Thank you for responding, I went to my supplier/fix it people today and It looks like I am getting a new machine. I am supposed to get it in four-five weeks. For now, they gave me a loaner to use. I hope the new machine will be like this one, it is easier to carry on the shoulder and less bulkier.

Irritating dentist drill sound from cpap
It's coming from my cpap tank (where the humidifier is). I have never had this sound until like a couple weeks ago. It's the swivel part of the tank that is making the noise. Whenever I move my hose around, it makes that noise. I replaced my equipment and it's still acting up. I have ran the machine...

Re: In Case of Hurricane ...
Some people have mentioned in the past to have something that generates electricity (like a hand crank generator) for your cpap/autopap if you are unable to get power and unable to get to a shelter.
I live in WI, we don't get hurricanes so I can't give you many tips on that one. Sorry.

Re: Can ANYONE donate a AutoPap - This whistling is driving me
I heard a whistling sound when I tried the cpap for the first time. It was the mask and I stopped using it. I ended up going to DME and ended up getting a new mask. The new mask solved the problem. Maybe that's your problem? But If I were you, I would go back to the DME and ask them what is going on...

xylimelts, ACT dry mouth spray and melts, Biotene products are good to use while using your cpap.

Re: Marks / Creases on Cheeks from Headgear
With me, I see them in the morning and usually put on my makeup like I normally do. Nobody has ever commented on the marks. Except for my mother and it's usually "I see the cpap mask strap marks on your face." But if it bothers you, try the pad a cheek strap covers and wearing your headgear not so t...

So I am wondering what is the best tips that you received from posters on this board? Good idea to start this thread, Goldie! I have to admit, Even this board is sometimes interesting to view (the disagreements and all), I have gotten some very good tips from many of you. I dunno, I have always thrown mine out because they have holes in them. I guess you can use a bunch of them as shapers for boots and such.

Re: lincare complaints
Lincare was okay until I tried to switch DME's. I wanted to switch over to a local provider, in case of If I had one of those problems that had to replaced right away (Hole in tubing, etc). Lincare made it very difficult for me to switch over. I had to call their local number to get switched over (T...

Re: knocked water on top of cpap machine- please help me!
The hair dryer trick worked. My cpap is operating again.
I was a little nervous because don't have a back up cpap.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
