Re: ResMed AirSense 11 - A sneak peak
I read through this thread, but did not see any info about whether there is a new AirCurve 11 coming or just the AirSense this year? Has there been any info found on that?

DreamWisp QC?
I just bought one to try... the package was fully sealed. I had to rip the strip on top. Took out the mask and found long brown hair strands at a few spots around the silicon headgear. Seems strange on a sealed package... I can remove the hair... but I have a pet peeve about my CPAP stuff being new ...

Re: Dreamwear tougher to breath?
I retried the mask at various fixed pressures over the last week... may be I was remembering from when I started CPAP that it was tough to breath at lower pressures... and may be I got used to it... even down to 6 I was breathing ok now. I have been experimenting with turning off the exhale relief a...

Re: Dreamwear tougher to breath?
Medium nasal pillows. I'll have to reduce the pressure and try that to test... but, if I recall correctly, it was still an issue when on my back. I don't recall how much different than side (with one blocked). I'll have to try the cushions again also, to see if the nasal opening is contributing. In ...

Dreamwear tougher to breath?
I have been using a Dreamwear mask since I started CPAP. It is the only thing I have experience with. Before I start playing with other masks, i was hoping for some input... I have always had to keep my pressure at 9 or more, otherwise inhaling with the dreamwear mask (pillows) seems like breathing ...

EnduriMed pillow
I decided to try the EnduriMed CPAP pillow after seeing a lot of good reviews. Mainly to solve the problem of the air vent on DreamWear pillow mask hitting the pillow and waking me up. It seems to solve that problem for me very well... but after a few nights of using it, the back of my neck is very ...

Dreamwear full face mask
I just got one last week. I had been using the Dreamwear nasal pillows. I have a close shaven mustache and goatee. I tried the first few nights with the large face piece. Although Sleepyhead did not show any large leak periods, I felt like it just did not seal around the bottom of the nose too well....

Re: Respironics DreamWear Full Face Mask Review
Frame is the same headgear is different. So yes the mask part plugs into same frame but you need different headgear strap. Updated... looked at pictures on page 1 again and answered my own question... so the strap is different between the two. Got it. Now the question is... if I buy only the full f...

Re: Respironics DreamWear Full Face Mask Review
Thanks! I did see the pics... but was hard to tell. The piece that plus into the nasal pillow looks similar to the picture. And I saw another review that said it appeared to use the same frame... but may be it was wrong.

Re: Respironics DreamWear Full Face Mask Review
Pugsy,
Can you tell if the DreamWear full face mask headgear is interchangeable with the nasal pillow version? ie. does the new full face part snap in to the old headgear like the nasal pieces snap in? Or is the headgear different?
Thanks!

Re: Dreamstation pressure spikes
Thanks... what I am seeing is 1.5 for 4-5 minutes... I am not sure WHY SleepyHead shows them as ONE point at +1.5 with ramp up and down taking 4-5 minutes... makes me wonder if it is really a ramp up and down that gradually... or if it is only logging points every 2 minutes, and this is the best res...

Dreamstation pressure spikes
I had been running my Dreamstation at fixed min and max for a couple months, trying to narrow down a good pressure for me. I zeroed in on 9.5 giving me the best AHI. Last week, as next step in tests, I set range to 9.0-12.0. When I have an OA I do see the pressure ramp up for a while with plateau, a...

Dreamstation power up blast
When I press the start button on top of my Dreamstation (not the ramp button), a couple seconds later it sends a blast of air through the mask for 2-3 seconds, then seems to operate at a higher than normal pressure for 5-10 minutes before settling down... my levels are set at min and max of 9.5 with...

A-Flex/C-Flex strange behavior
I have read through the threads on Dreamstation C-Flex/A-Flex, and I understand that on this unit I am not setting an exact pressure relief level... and the unit uses your respiration levels to decide how much relief to provide... but, I would still expect that a lower number would provide less reli...

Re: First night...
OK. Learning every night... last night I tried the Bedvida. I do like the extra comfort at the nose compared to Dreamwear pillow, BUT, I was awake over 10 times struggling with the hose... and woke my wife up twice also... not good. My AHI went back up to 5.26, but one thing I am noticing, is that I...
