Re: 4am monster
BTW, tried melatonin before going to bed last night. Had trouble going to sleep but once there the monster didnt appear and the wife said that was the most peaceful she had seen me sleep in a while. Still a little fuzzy headed today, but we'll work on that. Thx for all the help.

Re: 4am monster
Thx pugsy, I promise if get my hands on the monster he'll never make it to your house again! I guess what I'm asking is it possible that the AHI's can be controlled till then and appear? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? Is it worth trying APAP with say an 8-15 range?

4am monster
Had my first follow up dr appointment today. Was expecting to get scolded for changing my pressure settings, was prescribed 5 CPAP. Well that was too low so I inched up to 8 and it feels pretty good. Well instead of getting chewed out I found he had no clue what I had done other then what I told him....

Re: Resmed autosense 10
Update: I left the machine in CPAP mode but bumped from 6 up to 7. Next morning the AHI was down to 2 and felt much better, not 100% by any means but better. Next morning (Sunday) AHI 2 and still feel decent. Will go a few more nights at 7 and see what happens. If still good will try 8. So far, so g...

Re: Resmed autosense 10
Thanks for the feedback! Yes I had 2 sleep studies don't have the report in hand at the moment. What I do know is I had trouble both times with getting enough "sleep" time for good readings. My sleep patterns were so screwed up from so many years of this. I have the feeling my doc, a neurologist, is...

Re: Resmed autosense 10
I'm seriously thinking about trying the autoset for a night or 3. I'm not to worried about my doc. What I am concerned about is the high end setting I don't want it blowing out my ear drums out in the middle of the night. Right now it is set at what I assume is the default setting of 4-20. A couple ...

Resmed autosense 10
Hello, having been recently diagnosed I have been on treatment for about 3 weeks. Have settled in fairly well with the mask, a resmed P10. I do feel some better, but feel I'm not getting enough. After reading some here and other places I got into the clinical setup to see just what I have. My machin...
