Re: Pressure Support Question
Most of your events are hypopnea and CA’s this looks like complex sleep apnea the only way to treat hypopnea is to increase pressure support. The only way to treat CA’s is to reduce pressure support.... Do you see a conflict here. AHI of less than 5 over the whole night is considered treated. What w...

Re: Thoughts on sleepyhead data for the last few nights
I think you need more minimum pressure than 8 to treat the hypopnea, osa and snores, the Phillips is slow to respond upwards and you need a slightly higher starting pressure possibly closer to 9 but in small increments 0.2, but on the whole your not doing bad, just small tweaks and your AHI is likely...

Re: Clear Airway Event vs Resp. Rate
The ca with the green line down it looks like a deep breath or a roll over before holding your breath. Nothing to worry about there. The ripples on the line is the resmed using FOT (Small pressure pulses to detect if the apnea is central or obstructive) the CA is then scored when you start breathing...

Re: New Beginnings are terrifying!
The white noise generated by the fan can mask a lot of noise and stop you concentrating too much on your breathing and the machine noises. Keep using it.

I would also raise the minimum pressure of your machine from 5.5 up to 8 it is likely to feel better and help your numbers.

Re: Newbie: first night pressure + leak rate question
There are two lines on the leak rate (the top one is total leaks) the bottom line is unexpected leaks, as long as the second line is either not there or up to a value of about 24 the leaks are nothing to worry about. If the leaks become an issue the machine will raise a LL large leak flag

Sleepyhead will not run on an IPad sorry. It will only run on a computer either a MAC, PC running windows or Linux. It will not run on a chrome book nor a non windows tablet.

Re: SD card Rewrite
I was able to use windows cmd rmdir “System Volume Information” to remove the folder then immediately eject the SD card or just let the S9 reformat the card and rewrite the summary data, you now have the detailed data in sleepyhead, and the S9 only keeps 7days of detailed data anyway
