Re: Gave up on FFM and tried the p10 pillows..
Oh definitely.... I think I need to edit online too... and on sleepyhead? How should I configure the leak rate, also? I Remeber there was a threshold setting? At some point next week I’ll probably look at some fine tuning of the settings. I’ve got a base setting of 9 or 9.4 now judged from where I w...

Gave up on FFM and tried the p10 pillows..
After another week of waking up every.single.hour I gave up on my full face mask and went with p10 nasal pillows. The difference in my ability to sleep and stay asleep is astounding. It’s strange though because I barely feel the mask is on. The FFM there was always a sensation of strong pressure at ...

Re: A few questions
Last night the big wakeup was a pretty nasty nightmare. The other ones I think were light related, not certain, full moon and all. Also, there's some tickborne stuff thats running around my bloodstream that can cause sleep disturbances; and I'm also having comfort issues staying on my side all night...

Re: A few questions
Doing a bit better and getting things dialed in closer. I started with 7.0 and had an AHI of 6.6. Kicked it up to 8 and had it 6.4. Looked at the time spent at pressure graph, and found a reasonable cluster at 8.4 so set it there last night. Tonight was better, but would definitely like to get that ...

Re: OT - Jar Opener
House trick here... take 2-3 rubber bands, twist them together, place over jar lid.... provides plenty of grip for even the stiffest lid. If torsion strength were an issue, I'd think about a rubber strap wrench too... the used to sell them on tv, now you can find them in just about any auto or hardw...

Re: A few questions
I think you just nailed it. Yeah, I think I was. I usually sleep on my right side (reflux issues once upon a time, habit stuck) but supine is a go-to in my sleep. LadyWolf was constantly rolling me back onto my side (well, making me...) for snoring.

Re: Hello from West Virginia
Hello back from Kearneysville, West Virginia! I just had a sleep study done in November. It was fine, there was nothing to be anxious about. I got used to the wires almost immediately, the only difficulty I had was the blue light form the monitoring equipment because I sleep in almost cave darkness....

Re: A few questions
As I recall I was out within 3-4 minutes. I had actually startled myself back awake a bit and was stuffy, realized the machine was in fact off, turned it back one, and was out cold before I knew it... I can only positively remember maybe 2 minutes of trying to determine if my nose was going to clear...

Re: A few questions
I'm actually kind of perplexed because in the sleep study, it was predominantly hypopnea. At home, it's very heavily weighted towards obstructive apnea. What would explain that? I'll kick the base pressure up to 7 tonight. Being able to see these stats is pretty nifty; I will definitely need to reme...
