Re: Pilairo headgear, back strap sliding on my head... any advice?
Hi have I have another discussion about using the pilairo headgear ( not the single strap one) with my Brevida mask. Been using this for a few weeks now. Only adaptation was that I elected to wind a small pice of paper surgical tape around each of the clips to lessen possibility of the slightly nar...

Re: Pilairo headgear, back strap sliding on my head... any advice?
There's another reason besides the hair or lack of for that pesky back strap wanting to slide up the back of the head. The shape of the back of the head and the size of a little bump on the base of the skull. That little bump is called the occipital protuberance and if it is normal to large that li...

Re: Pilairo headgear, back strap sliding on my head... any advice?
Hi, sorry, I don't have an answer, but I have to ask (because I've been considering trying it myself), how does the Brevida mask work with the Pilairo headgear? I guess other than the sliding on your head. That is a terrible problem for me as well, due to thin, silky, fine, slippery hair. I haven't...

Pilairo headgear, back strap sliding on my head... any advice?
Hello. I’m trying a combination of Brevida mask with Pilairo Q headgear, but having one problem... being rather baldish (short trimmed hair).... the back side of the headgear is Sliding up and loosing up the whole mask. Is there anything I could add to the headgear strap, to stop it from sliding? Wo...

Re: Recommendation on Full Face Mask
Sorry, the Amara View drove me crazy. I could never get a good seal. I use the ResMed AirFit F20. Amazing how every person is different. In my case I couldn’t get good seal with f10 but with Amara no leaks. And both with my trimmed beard. Choosing mask is the most diffficult task in the whole CPAP ...

Re: Am I the only one who thinks DreamWear nasal mask isn’t good, because....
Apparently I’m the only one who can easily replicate issues from my original post. Yesterday, before bed I decided just for fun to use it for few minutes and test few different scenarios. Large headgear with medium cushion. Resmed set at 8-12. After pressing on left side of the tube with my finger, ...

Unfortunately not my experience. Pressure change if you block either side of the tubes, which I can feel.
But, glad it’s working for you.

Am I the only one who thinks DreamWear nasal mask isn’t good, because....
... because I’m a sides sleeper and when I lay on either side of my face, the pressure from my face is blocking the air tube on that side, which totally change air pressure in the mask around the head and: 1. It can wake me up, because I can feel not enough air getting thru (usually the side with pr...

Re: trying FF mask, resmed AirFit F10, does this look good?
Looks pretty darn good from the numbers side. How is it from the sleep quality side of things? Weirdly enough I sleep better with full face than with nasal pillows... less pain on nostrils (or lack of it)... and less feeling of air being forced into me. I also got some holder for the hose, which do...

Re: At what point You can be banned from ONLINE store for trying on masks?
Cub4bearin, I would suggest it may be the hose is getting tangled up or you are pulling on it while sleeping which is pulling the mask off of your face. I would suggest getting a hose holder to hold the hose up out of your way along with a stretchy material the hose can move with as you move. I pur...

Re: Pilairo adjustable headgear with Brevida mask?
Thanks Pugsy. I appreciate it. There isn’t really any hurry - just thought I would try the other headgear to see if there was less slippage. Just tangles my hair some. Whenever will be fine. Thanks again. Saw your post here and wonder if you have any trouble with the Brevida mask with the nose pill...

Re: At what point You can be banned from ONLINE store for trying on masks?
Until you face the fact that you're going to need to train yourself to stop sleeping on your stomach, and at least trim your beard close and neat (like my goatee now), you are never going to find anything that works. You have to change/adapt a little, or you may as well just quit using the xpap. Oh...
