Re: FFM advice wanted - update with dreamwear flap question
fwiw, I just wrote on another post that it took me about 4 months to get used to cpap and i believe the new mask i changed to had a lot to do with it. It is a Dreamware ffm. But i know it all depends on face shape, etc., also.

Re: Dreamwear Full Face Mask
I picked up that mask last Thursday. See my thread. http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=170852 I can't tell you much about the sizing, especially if you have to order it. My DME looked at me and decided on a medium by guessing, then decided to take the frame off the mouthpiece and put a sma...

Re: Burping Up Food. Throat Closing Up. HELP/ADVICE?
I am sorry you are having trouble. I, too, am having trouble with waking with stomach full of air. My Dr has lowered the pressure in last 2 months from 12 to 9 cms. I saw him last Thursday & he is going to check the readouts in 2 wks & may order another sleep study with a bipap machine. I am retire...

Trying a new style Dreamware Face Mask
Dreamware Face Mask L~01.jpg I went to Dr 4 days ago at end of 3 months as newbie & he recommended a face mask for my next kind as I was using a nasal pillows mask & having issues. I went to my very helpful & friendly DME in Spgfd MO, & they had just received a Dreamware face mask, so I brought it ...

Thank you all for responding. When I see the doctor Thursday I will ask him instead of going down should we go up in pressure and see what he says.

Re: 2 months sore & dry mouth tried more humidity, tape, chin strap
Thank you. I forgot to say that I have tried mouthpieces, but just made me bite down harder when asleep.
I think when I started all this, Dr. had it set at 12cm & went down to 10.
Are full face masks all more uncomfortable than nasal masks?

I tend to grind my teeth & usually wake up with sore jaw hinges, but i have had it for years so put up with it, so I believe I sleep with mouth s...
