"I wonder why it is available in Canada and not the US?"
My first guess would be USFDA certification/approval. If it works as advertised and the designers have wheelbarrows of money and 5-10 years to throw at it, pursue & test in clinical trials its a definite 'maybe.'

Re: Renowned Sleep Expert Dr. Jerrold Kram to Present New Sleep Apnea Treatment by Sommetrics at SLEEP 2018
to me "negative pressure" is a kinder/gentler definition of vacuum. Its not pressure or positive pressure that pulls the larynx and surrounding soft tissue area outward but rather the built-in Hoover attached to the front of the contraption. For all I know it may be capable of sucking the icing off ...

Re: Always worried about non-standard or non-existent plug
I was unaware there's any single adapter that works with or fits ALL international adapters. But I would think this adapter will adapt to an international adapter kit. Especially given this particular adapter is available in 2/3 prong terminated or pass-thru (as shown). I did find this link to a sit...

Re: Always worried about non-standard or non-existent plug
While I haven't worried about that I have wondered "what if?" Then remembered a few years back needing a similar adapter for different reasons: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001F71O70/ref=asc_df_B001F71O705446399/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=394997&creativeASIN=B001F71O70&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167139094796&hv...

Re: anyone has spare LARGE headgear for AirFit F20 or F10?
Dunno if it matters for your needs but as far as the F20 M & L is concerned there's no difference in headgear size. The masks are different sizes for sure but the headgear for both uses upper straps that are 11.125" long and lower straps are 4.500" long. I have both to measure but don't have access ...

Re: Question regarding treatment pressure...
Since I began journaling in earnest for the past 6-8 weeks my events have remained at/near .4 or .5. Anything dramatically different would've had me running to you guys in a panic screaming; "whats does this mean?" Not altogether different than my lead post above asking about pressure differentials.

Re: Question regarding treatment pressure...
Yes Julie, in fact 4 vials of blood was given just under two weeks ago on April 2nd at the same visit with my VA pulmonologist. Everything was fine. Pulmonologist thought it a very good thing as I'm 5'10" and was only 145lbs pre-cpap. Now I'm closer to a buck sixty, perhaps a pound or two heavier to...

Re: Question regarding treatment pressure...
As I said in my original post; "I understand its a 95 percentile number..." What I was hoping to say was my latest daily pressure report is "averaging" closer to 9.6 than the initial 8.2. By that I mean its been 9.2, 9.4, 9.6, 9.6, 9.6, 9.8 (actual) etc.

Re: Just ordered my DreamWear FFM...
**UPDATE** Got the new DreamWearFFM today and swatted all the Friday the 13th vibes away and set about fitting it. Initial impression is good/positive. Love how much less of it there is than my F20FFM! Wish the top-mounted friction fit clip hose-release was a little easier to release but other than ...

Question regarding treatment pressure...
Between 3 and 4 weeks ago I starrted making a mental note of my daily pressures. While my machine is on autoset, my high/low presets are 16/8 respectively. My question is why has my actual pressure used gradually increased in the past 3-4 weeks? Pressure that started at 8.2 a few weeks ago is now av...

Re: Just ordered my DreamWear FFM...
As I've said previously if it doesn't work its no biggie... return insurance assures that much. Even if I were to lose every dime I'd be disappointed for a couple days but little else. I want it to work of course, even be great wouldn't break my heart but no big deal if it isn't. I'll simply move on...
