Re: Full Face mask for high pressure and bearded man

I have a full beard because I portray Santa during the Christmas season.

I use a Simplus full face mask and it does great. It is a little tighter than most wear it but I get very few leeks with it. The Dr. said I would have difficulties getting a good seal but that was not so.

Re: Waking up to go to the bathroom

I have been on my CPAP for about 6 weeks. I have yet to sleep a full night. I most always get up once to relieve my bladder sometimes twice.

Do any of you go without the humid air?
I don't use a CPAP humidifier. What climate are you in, and what is your bedroom temperature?
i live in western TN. In the summer humidity is HIGH. Our bedroom is around 65 with ceiling fan going. I am a mouth breather and use a FF mask.

Re: Took off the Humidifier

The settings for the humidifier was at 2. (It only gave 1,2, or 3.) No, I do not have a heated hose.
I feel the cooler air was nice last night but the noice level of my breathing went up, if that makes sense.

Took off the Humidifier

I have been having a cough since I got on the CPAP machine about a month ago. I went to the doctor and had a mild case of broncidis (I can't spell). It has not cleared up so I took off the humidifier in hopes of having a dryer air for a few days and see what happens. It just seems to me that to much...

Re: Another question

They told me to bring mine when I come in for my first appointment after using my machine for 6 weeks. This is so the tech or Dr. can make adjustments to the pressure if need be.

New user Intro

Hello. I am a new cpap user (one Week). I must say I am not sleeping well because I am listening for air leaks around my mask. I am using the Dreammapper software on my phone to follow my progress but it is confusing. Last night I had a 91% Mask Fit which I thought was pretty good since I have a ful...
