Re: AHI of 15.5 for an hour and I wasn't even asleep?
Thanks for the clarification. That makes sense. Still learning as I go. it's been back down the last two nights to 5.2 and 3.4 but I'm still having problems keeping the mask on more than 5 hours or so. Sometime during the early morning hours typically it appears between 3:30 am and 5:00 am I rouse u...

AHI of 15.5 for an hour and I wasn't even asleep?
So Saturday night I go to bed at about 10pm and put the mask on....and it was one of those nights where I just couldn't fall asleep. I laid there for 15 minutes, and then decided to grab my phone (a no-no I know to get sleepy) and browsed Facebook, played games and etc because I just was not sleepy....

Re: Not adjusting well
FINALLY...much much better. Two back to back nights with 7 plus hours of mask usage and AHI of under 4.6 both nights. Hopefully adjusting....it just takes time.

Re: Not adjusting well
I don’t use the humidifier and the settings for it are at zero. This morning after 3:38ours I woke up and literally could t breathe out with the nasal Pillow mask on so I took it off. I’m having a hard time getting to 4 hours but my AHI was at 4.9. I see my Dr on Monday so perhaps I can try new mask...

Not adjusting well
Into my fourth week and I don’t feel like I’m adjusting well. This last week I only kept the mask on for 3-4 hours a night. I wake up hot and take it off only to fall back asleep restlessly without it. First if night when I put it on I go to sleep within a half hour. But then between 2-4 hours in I ...

Same hose.
I haven’t looked at the graphs yet for last night but I know what I felt and heard both before, during and after this whole

Re: Steady stream or pulsating air
So...I had a response on another post I had made about the air being too warm at night..and somewhere I'd read about disconnecting the humidifier and just using the CPAP alone. So, I tried that three nights ago. Last night I decided to hook the humidifier back up...and guess what? The pulsating air ...

Re: Steady stream or pulsating air
Here is last night....youll notice it was off for a while because that's where it started driving me nuts. I had been keeping it on between 5:45 and 7 hours a night prior to the last three nights....my AHI is coming down but I also know it likely isn't accurate due to the time it was off. screenshot...

Re: Steady stream or pulsating air
I have the 500 model....the Flex is set on 3...but if I go lower I feel like I can't breathe out without forcing my breath out. I just didn't notice it doing this before I changed from the full mask to the nasal pillow.

Re: Hello...just getting started!
I'm three weeks in and new too. I'm guessing that chances are there are plenty of guys on match.com who are on CPAP as well (just saying)...and if you meet the right guy it won't matter to him one bit that you are CPAP. I met my wife on match.com seven years ago

Re: Steady stream or pulsating air
When I'm breathing....obviously part of it is the reduction in pressure to let me exhale I'm guessing. It's not so much that I feel it, but hear it and it's fairly loud. I think changing to the nasal pillow mask made it more noticeable than the full face mask. I also guess I'm not getting the best s...

Steady stream or pulsating air
My machine seems to have suddenly started pulsating air she T first I thought it was a steady stream? Maybe I imagined that part and I’m just getting used to it? Or is this indicate something is wrong? I’m also not real Happy with the nasal pillow mask as it seems louder and I have a few squeals fro...
