Re: Switching masks after 2 years
I have the AirFit F20 full face mask and love it. I would recommend the AirFit F20 over the AirTouch F20. The AirTouch F20 has 'memory foam' for the part that touches your face. At first the AirTouch seems more comfortable than the silicone of the AirFit20 if you don't wear a mask pad. But be caref...

... Also are there are others like this? My Dr office is just putting in an order for a Dreamwear or something similar. AirFit F30i DreamWear Full Face ... I haven't tried either of the above, but for reasons stated below. YMMV. Simplus was my go-to mask before I switched to the AirFit F20. I've tr...

Re: Switching masks after 2 years
Ok this morning I had my second annual Dr office check up by video and everything is great for my numbers but I think I'm just not happy with my mask. My leak rate is a with in spec but high and my mask makes noise when it leaks and I think wakes me and my wife up a little. I'm due for my 3 month r...

Re: frequent nighttime urination
Since night 2, night 1 doesn't count because I got my machine at the height of a really bad coughing cold, i have not gotten up once expect maybe if I was sleeping in and wanted an extra hour of sleep. Before I started therapy I was about to have "the talk" with my PCP since I'm male and close to 60...

Re: How to run a ResMed AirMini on a USB power bank
If this setup puts out 20 volts and you need 12 volts you need a buck converter the opposite of a boost converter. Something like this but I've never really played with them. https://www.amazon.com/DZS-Elec-Adjustable-Electronic-Stabilizer/dp/B06XRN7NFQ/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=buck+converter&qid=15...

Re: Learning to Tolerate Full Face Mask
When I first started I started to wear a sore on the bridge of my nose so I put a little triangle of toilet paper to cover it. It toughened up but then I found mask liners.

Re: SleepyHead Software: where to download
Chromebooks run an OS based on Linux so no its not going to run.
Now I have heard you can install Windows 10 on certain models but it involves opening the machine switching something like a jumper and then installing WIN 10. Note you will also need a valid WIN 10 license key.

All my old T shirts are super thin so I bought paint rags from Home Depot. They are scraps from t shirt manufacturing.

Re: Mouth leakage / FFM issues
I make my liners from paint rags sold at Home Depot or Lowes which are usually scraps from T shirt manufacturing. But when I first got my mask I too had worn a sore on the bridge of my nose. To combat it I used a square of toilet paper folded into a square to cover the area. After a few days my nose...

Re: Best Cleaning Procedure
I came to this thread looking for tips on cleaning and apparently my lazyness is the way to go :D i wipe the mask out every so many days but that's it. Was wondering if i should get one of those cleaners i see on tv due to my lazy cleaning habits I rarely clean my mask, tube or water tank. I do use...

Re: Has anyone hit a score of 100 in myAir?
Seldom go below 100. Prior to cpap, had to get up to use the bathroom 1 or 2 times a night for 50 plus years From the first night on cpap, no longer need to get up. Cpap is worth it just for that!! Same for me I get 98+ almost every night and only get dinged for leakage rate. But from day 1, well r...

Re: Reservoir Stuck
Its also possible that if you removed it in the morning when its still warm and then set it down on something that something stuck to the bottom of the tank.
Could happen even when it was not hot.
