Re: Want to try a different mask...suggestions?

With some mask headgear there is more to it than just a different color for a different size or the for her model. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-airtouch-f20-full-face-cpap-mask.html#replacement-parts-tab I don't know what size headgear you are using but maybe you just need a different si...

Re: Does anyone ever just give up on cpap?

no longer needed her CPAP machine. It appears she was able to identify and deal with the root cause and eliminate it. I would have loved to discuss this further but she was on her way to San Francisco to hop a sail boat to Hawaii. At age 72 she appeared healthy and full of life. I would have loved ...

Want to try a different mask...suggestions?

Hi, I'm now 4 months into the CPAP world ...still hate it but am trying to be "compliant." I do rebel and take one weekend night "off" without the effin' thing on my face. That said...I would like to try a different mask. I have the ResMed AirTouch F20 Medium (foam-type seal rather than more plastic...

help - diagnosed with strep throat, should I skip the mask for now??

Cpap machine ran out of water last night and who knows if it was related but I was diagnosed with strep throat this morning and can't go to work until Friday as I am considered contagious for 36 hours. Started the antibiotics today. I'm wondering if I should not use the face mask tonight? Forgot to ...

Re: different cushion for F20 full face mask?

The cushion is the same for either mask. The for her version has lavender on it instead of blue, and the head gear is slightly smaller. I asked about the "for her" masks too but hadn't received an answer and saw it here... I had a hunch from the website photos it was more about color than sizing or...

Sure..Clean them to prevent germs and then hang them in the most germ filled room in the house to dry.
Not sure if you're being funny or not...that's what the respiratory tech told me to do. Where do you hang yours?

red marks on the nose...use a tiny bandage?

Hi, I have the ResMed AirTouch F20 because I didn't want a strap on my forehead (the first mask they tried on me in the Titration study was the F-S Simplus and I HATED it. I think I am in the Sleep Study Hall of Shame -- the very patient tech went thru four masks on me.) I am 9 nights into my Cpap a...

Re: Hello...just getting started!

Merry Meet Texascatfan, I've only had my Cpap since January 9,2018. So I'm still fairly new to it. I think the biggest advice I can give you is don't give up on your cpap if you don't feel well rested right away. I'm I still feel tired through out the day if I don't use caffine. So you've been runn...

Hello...just getting started!

:) Hi...Tonight will be Night #5 with my CPAP full face mask. I'm doing a little better than I thought I would, though I am still bummed overall that this is "the rest of my life." I am on match.com and am newly thinking that this is a significant change in my life and a prospective gentleman may no...
