Switched from CPAP to BIPAP

My sleep doctor just switched me from a CPAP machine that I have been using for a year to a BIPAP , is there a so called “learning curve “ for learning how to inhale and exhale with this machine?

Need to know the event category breakdown of those AHI numbers. Without knowing more information the best we can do is make wild ass guesses which isn't particularly helpful. Where are you getting those numbers? Off the machine's LCD screen or using software? Don't know about software? https://slee...

I have been on my CPAP machine for about 6 months now, my ahi numbers started out at around 11 and fluctuated from 11 to 17 for about 4 months, they then gradually started lowering to average around 7-8, for about a month, they then fluctuated from 3 -7 which I was happy with as I really felt amazin...

You didn't say that it is using almost no water, just that it is using less than you think it should, or less than somebody else's does under what appears to be the same settings and conditions. If it isn't using water in Arizona then something is probably up. Turn it on and let it run for about 15 minutes and then turn it off and immediately remove the water chamber and check the bottom of the chamber for warmth. It should be at least warm to the touch. Not necessarily horribly hot but go...
