Re: Two Masks?

That's what I did...i bought an brand new Airfit F20 off a member of another forum, but he is on here as well, and i got the Airfit N20 through insurance. I really like both masks. If you keep your eyes open, you can find new ones for sale a lot cheaper.

Re: My AHI keeps going up

While on the loaner machine, just a week prior to getting mine, I had turned the auto off and put it at 14.5 and had pretty good numbers. I will raise my minimum tonight, I think I will just raise it to my prescribed pressure of 14 and maybe bump the max up 1 or 2.

Re: Can Sleep Apnea Cause Death?

Anybody remember Reggie White? Defensive End for the Philidelphia Eagles, and Green Bay packers?...this was taken from his wikipedia page.... "On the morning of December 26, 2004, White was rushed from his home in Cornelius, North Carolina, to a nearby hospital in Huntersville, North Carolina, where...

Re: My AHI keeps going up

Since I'm being monitored, should I adjust pressure? Or let them do it when I go in for my first follow up in a few weeks?

My AHI keeps going up

Since getting my machine last Monday, set from 10cm to 17cm....my AHI seems to go up every night....i've not had a single night where it was below 3. My prescribed pressure is 14. Here are my last 3 reports.

Re: Recently diagnosed. Trying to navigate insurance/apria/carecentrix and determine best options

Sucks to hear what you are going through...I have Cigna which uses Carecentrix for medical equipment...used them when my wife was pregnant, supplied breast pump and accessories at no cost to us. i have had to call them a couple of times here recently and they resolved my issues pretty quickly....I m...

Re: Question about compliance

Doesn't matter how many times you turn the machine on and off as long as you are getting 4 hrs or more total. Compliance only looks at the total time used. Gotcha....I got a lil over 6 hrs total last night. I've got no issue with masks, it'll just be having to get up at least once in the middle of ...

Question about compliance

Ok, now that I'm using my prescribed machine, I have to "worry" about compliance. So, we have an older dog, that sleeps in our utility room, and we have a baby gate on that door, we keep it closed becasue if we don't, he will go in the living room and relieve himself. So usually once or twice a week...

Re: Losing patience

I got all worked up for nothing....I got an auto, they said they don't give out bricks or straight cpaps anymore...not since the auto can be turned off...even with a prescribed pressure, he set it to a min and max just below and above the pressure I need. I'm happy. Got me a new Resmed Airfit N20 as...
