Re: dreamTAP oral Sleep Apnea Device

I was really surprised to search the forums and find no mention of this device. (http://www.oralartsdental.com/dreamtap/) If there is even a chance this thing works I want to take it. I cant stop struggling after 2 years and would do anything to get off cpap. Anyone had success with this?? I have s...

Re: Do you ever have trouble pulling in air?

Since you describe this as being soon after dozing off, I have to wonder if it was during ramp time. Are you using the ramp feature? If so, you may want to consider if your ramp pressure needs increased. Not familiar with if your machine has a ramp that responds to needs or not, but even if so, too...

Re: Need help problem-solving large leaks with Dreamwear mask

I am having some of the same issues with my Dreamwear mask. I find the mask to be very comfortable and it works perfectly when I am sleeping on my back. When on my side I get leaks and have to do a lot of readjusting to get a seal, and I am mostly a side sleeper. I am thinking about trying the gel ...

Nice post and thread! Thanks for that.

As far as I'm concerned, just waking up another day is beyond estimate of price/worth. I am blessed to have a CPAP machine that helps make that possible.
Amen to that! :D :D

Re: My quest for that million dollar feeling ...

About that million dollar feeling thing...those people who find it are the lucky ones. Most of us just get glimpses of it on occasion or never even see it. Thanks, Pugsy. I don't know that I'll ever get that million dollar feeling ... I'm 70 years old and have a lot of other issues ... but I will c...

My quest for that million dollar feeling ...

We've all heard the phrase "I feel like a million bucks!". A week ago I wasn't feeling anywhere near a million bucks. I was actually feeling more like, oh, maybe a nickel and 2 pennies, and I had felt that way for years! When I saw my Cardiologist in December of last year she asked me a bunch of que...

Just diagnosed

Greetings to all! I was just diagnosed with OSA about 2 weeks ago and just received my CPAP machine and have been using it for the last 4 nights. I was very apprehensive about using the machine and felt it would be cumbersome and I would never be able to do it for the long haul. Needless to say, the...

Re: Cpap and essential oil

I have a Phillips Respironics DreamStation Auto CPAP. I don't know about any other machines, but on mine, the humidifier reservoir is the last place the air passes through before going out the hose to the mask. Other than maybe leaving a little residue in the tank, which is removable and easy to cl...

Re: Cpap and essential oil

What people do is put a few drops of the aromatherapy oils on a cotton ball outside of the air intake... never, ever put anything inside the machine, or in the humidifier water. I have a Phillips Respironics DreamStation Auto CPAP. I don't know about any other machines, but on mine, the humidifier ...
