Re: ResMed AirSense 10: Won't let me set the time!
Insert a different SD card that either has old or no data on it and change time. Then reinsert SD card that has all your historical data. No need to erase anything

Re: First week on CPAP, my AHI is still high
I am not one to tell you what pressures or other options to set on your machine. The numbers the DME and doctors are seeing are well and good, but it is only you that knows what is actually happening during the night. This is a learning process which does take some time to find settings and masks-es...

Re: Recently Diagnosed - Initial Order Sent to Apria
I had simular call just after I was diagnosed 3 months ago. I contacted Physician's and DME offices to verify phone call. I ignored the call and it never reared its head again.

Clear Airway Apnea
I have been noticing lately that my Clear Airway apnea number are the majority of my average AHI number. Should this be of concern. AHI numbers have leveled out anywhere from 1 to 3 which fall in the less than 5 catagory so I fell that is a good thing. But I am noticing my Clear Airway numbers is wh...

Re: Another NewB getting frustrated
I guess I need to just sleep and let things happen. Seeing recent good numbers with OA being basically Nill, may be causing me to be more over anxious and concientious looking for even better results than I need too. We are looking for under 5/hr which I am. I will work on that.

Re: Another NewB getting frustrated
Restless night for some reason. Trying to find a position to keep myself off my back. Not uncomfortable because of machine or mask. Just couldn't find a comfortable sleep postion on either one of my sides. Don't know what that was all about and it didn't really bother or irritate me. Maybe just to c...

Re: Another NewB getting frustrated
Estatic about last night results and overall sleep!! Actually was surprised that it was 8am when I awoke for the last time. The wake-ups where brief. Basically got up to take break from mask being on my face, took brief walk - 5 min around house. Got back in bed, started machine and was asleep fairl...

Re: Another NewB getting frustrated
Change minimum pressure to 10, Ramp 5min/start @ 9. Second night with new N20 mask. Believe your analasys about being on my back is spot on. I made a solid effort to stay on my sides leaning more toward my stomack in hope of not rolling back to my back and things sure do seem to have improved consid...

Re: Another NewB getting frustrated
Try to stay on my right or left side. I prop pillows on either side to keep me from going completely to my back. But as you said, hard to stop yourself from doing that when your sleeping. I do not have a problem with pressure of 10 so will try to up min pressure to 10 while erp remains at 3 and see ...

Re: Another NewB getting frustrated
Per suggestion of Pubsy, I have changed from the Resperonics Armara View FFM to ResMed N20 nasal mask. With Armara, when leaks occured it took pressure to high teens. Right off the bat the N20 has brought pressure down to comfortable pressure of 12 - 14. Still wakeing up multiple times during night ...

Re: Another NewB getting frustrated
Thanks much!! I will make changes you suggest and see where it takes me. And thanks for this forum. You have been SOOO much more help than the equipment provider who thus far has been of no help what so ever.

Re: Another NewB getting frustrated
I like to sleep on my side - more on my right side than on my left. But since starting PAP Therapy and struggling with mask, I have migrated to my Back thinking that would help with mask issues. I have downloaded the Clinical manual and have read it. It looks like the only thing the equipment suppli...

Another NewB getting frustrated
Started PAP therapy 14 days ago. Use ResMed Airsense 10 with humidifier. SlimLine Non-Heated hose. Phillips Armara View full facemask. I am an extreamly active sleeper is why I choose Full FaceMask. Really felt early on as tho I was having success and on my way to better things to come. Felt more re...
