Re: Been on CPAP for 7 mo's - still have polyuria
I have had to get up at night for as long as I can remember. Doctor told me I have a small bladder and it is “tipped “ so it doesn’t empty right. Perhaps you may have something similar.

How Much Sleep
I have always needed more sleep than the “average” person. Less than 10 hours and I feel like doggy doodoo. Now that I have a modern and efficient CPAP and mask, I find myself sleeping 11-12 hours a night! And, I feel so rested when I wake up you would not believe it. I have autoimmune hepatitis wit...

Aerocare told me the manufacturers come out with something new about every 5 years.

Re: Full Face Mask Problem
No experience with this but maybe you should just use the FF mask instead of switching on and off with the other one. Also, are you using the ramp function? How about the humidity? Other people can probably help you more but perhaps my comments will give you something to think about.

Re: Is this all normal ...
Once I get settled in I read a ebook. Helps me relax and fall asleep. DON’T give up! You CAN figure out what the problem is although it may take a while. Once you do and you start feeling better you will be glad you didn’t give up.

Re: Solution for Mask Leaks & Skin Irritation?
So... you put this stuff on at night when going to bed? Not in the morning? Sheriff Yes, you put it on before you put your mask on at bedtime. Last night was the 2nd night I used it and again it worked great, no irritation and it helped to create a seal so the mask didn’t move. The only thing I did...

Re: Solution for Mask Leaks & Skin Irritation?
It's encouraging for all of us to find even temporary relief from one thing or another if it gives us one or two nights of decent sleep and AHI results. I would think that any cream safe for the skin and that doesn't absorb quickly would provide a good seal if applied around the rim of a mask of an...

Solution for Mask Leaks & Skin Irritation?
Disclaimer: I have only used this product for 1 night but am impressed enough by it to post today. I have been bothered by some skin irritation and what myAir is counting as “events” (actually when I pull the mask away from my face because of irritation). I found a lotion on Amazon called CPAP Chap....

Re: Dreaming I can’t breathe
I had that happen when my old machine died and I was waiting for a replacement. The 6 nights I have slept with my new machine I have not had any problems. I am far from being an expert but it almost sounds like you aren’t set at the right pressure.

Re: AirrSense 10 Humidiifier Question
The guy that delivered my equipment was really nice, I have to say that. I told him repeatedly that I had been using a CPAP for 11 years. His comments would probably have been better suited to someone brand new to therapy. He still should have said that the humidity and ramp were adjustable even for...
