Re: Replacing Airsense 10 power supply
The upside to hoarding--if there is one. We are in the process of major downsizing as we try moving to an independent living apartment. Floor space is reduced rom 2000 to 1000 sq ft and there is no garage or storage space that we are used to. It's amazing how much CPAP stuff I have. Learn...

Re: Replacing Airsense 10 power supply
We each have a spare machine, so we always have a backup on hand. I do recommend having a spare if possible.

Re: Replacing Airsense 10 power supply
Good news! While looking at the PS in the wastebasket, I discovered that the fine center pin was bent. I was able to straighten it and it now works.

Replacing Airsense 10 power supply
Power brick appears to have failed--CPAP light just flickers on when connected then is dead. With a different power supply, machine works fine. So it looks like I need a new power brick. It's expensive from CPAP suppliers but relatively cheap from various Amazon sellers. Does anyone have experience ...

Re: Water Resevoir Question
When I was using distilled or reverse osmosis water, I would just top off the tank, emptying it only for cleaning. Distilled water does not create a noticeable mineral deposit; RO water produced a very thin film of minerals. With tap water, softened or not, I dump and refill daily. The reason I do t...

Re: OSCAR v1.5.1 released - September 23, 2023
Are you running Windows, do you have a high-resolution monitor? That can cause a similar appearance problem on Windows. If so, go to the OSCAR Troubleshooting Wiki and see the section on "OSCAR Graphics Problems." If not a high resolution monitor, what is your screen size in pixels? (e.g., 1980/1200...

If you got the machine from a local DME, take the machine to them for repair.

Re: F30 elbow
The elbow has a clip on each side that attach to the mask. Are both sides clipped in properly? If you have just one clip seated and the other one is loose, you will get a lot of noise.

Re: AirCurve 10 factory default settings?
Thanks, PR. Looks like my SIL's machine has been adjusted. Seems odd to me with a minEPAP of 8 and PS of 6. I haven't received any data to look at, but those numbers were higher than I expected for an AHI of 22 in the sleep study. Hopefully I will get some data soon and see what is going on.

AirCurve 10 factory default settings?
Does anyone know what the factory default settings of the ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto are for EPAP, IPAP, and PS in VAuto mode?
I'm looking at my SIL's machine and wonder if it is still set to factory defaults.
Thanks!

Re: OSCAR not flagging Clear Airway CA
I just got a copy of my F&P InfoSmart patient report app and it shows that I had 29 CA's during the night, which was noted as not a good thing..... On the same night the Oscar app did not flag any CA's. I had previously set up Clear Airway (CA) (flagged and ticked both boxes) in the preferences/eve...

Re: OSCAR not flagging Clear Airway CA
In either case it's a pretty safe assumption that the OSCAR team made an attempt to report on OAs and CAs and was not able to, thus the row header of A (for Apneas) and Guy Scharf's comment. Exactly. And, at the time, InfoSmart was not distinguishing OAs and CAs either. If InfoSmart is now reportin...

Re: Prisma Smart/Soft and OSCAR -- data needed
We are testing Prisma Smart support in a private forum on ApneaBoard. If you would like to help test the support, you would need to join ApneaBoard and send a PM to Gideon to ask for access to the OSCAR testing forum.geraldbergeron wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 7:01 amI would love to be able to use OSCAR with my Prisma Smart !!!

Re: Red line on the pressure graph
BlueDragon may be interested. I've not seen this before. My interpretation: Your machine reduced your pressure very slightly. It could be that the data stream for pressure shows the reduction two seconds before the EPAP data stream. Could it be the result of OSCAR processing or graphing? I suppose ...
