I recently had a colonoscopy at a clinic and notified them that I use an ASV device. The anesthesiologist did quickly examine me, but didn't seem concerned and they went ahead and did the procedure.

I now use the ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV machine after having tried and failed therapy with the PR DreamStation APAP and Auto BiPAP. I would never go back to a PR machine. In my experience, the ResMed runs quieter, requires a lower EPAP, and synchronizes much better with my breathing pattern.

It could possibly be an inspiratory flow limitation.
