Re: CPAP or AutoSet

You could take a hike, while I wait for a response from the OP. You didn't actually ask for a response from the OP. Nor did you specify what would count as an AHI you think is low enough for the CPAP to be unworthy of detailed data analysis: 7.0 is a very low pressure. If it maintains a low AHI and...

Re: CPAP or AutoSet

Hard for anyone to give anything other than generic comments without data. If you want to know what your machine is doing for you, and if there are events that APAP might treat that CPAP is not, follow the forum sticky links to download the free multi-platform Sleephead software, import data from y...

Re: printable luggage tab for medical device

I got one custom made with my address in 2016 from these folks on ebay.. $5.. it's ok so far https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carry-On-CPAP-Bag-Tag-TSA-CPAP-BiPAP-APNEA-POC-/113361095036?hash=item1a64d9097c That looks like a fair deal. I tried to find custom luggage tag companies to print my own design and...

Re: Sleep Test Results - Looking for validation

Part of the answer is simple. If you think loosing weight cured your sleep apnea, get re-tested. Loosing weight can reduce apneas, especially if you loose it around the neck area. However, sleep apnea can be related to other anatomical features not related to weight. So loosing weight is no guarante...

Re: WANTED!! Home sleep test

try the watch pat that device is used for home sleep tests check out you tube for more information Even if someone could get their hands on a $4,000 WatchPAT and the software needed to read it, the WatchPAT requires a new disposable finger sensor for every night. So, probably not the best home slee...

Re: Suggestions for Oximeter

Thanks for all the detailed info on the O2 Vibe. The same basic device comes paired with Moyeah APAPs, complete with APAP, wireless pulse ox, and nasal cushion mask, for a total of under $500. I had thought that the pulse ox integrated with the APAPs data recording, but upon reviewing the current we...

Re: What is the best CPAP Sterilizer?

The best CPAP sterilizer is the STERRAD low-temperature, hydrogen peroxide gas plasma sterilizer. Resmed has validated it for use on at least some of their masks. But it is a hospital grade unit. You did ask for the best :-) There are plenty of threads on the forum on disinfection. Including comment...

Re: My experience with Kaiser Permanente

Ultimately he suggested the Brevida (which someone here suggested in another thread) and it seemed to work well there -- hopefully it works better for me than it did for you! I *like* the Brevida :-) But I find the underside of my nose is pretty sensitive, so some masks that work for most people do...

Re: Apple won't let me on Sleepyhead

Just follow Dog Slobber's suggestion. This is actually a good security practice by Apple, to help prevent you from inadvertently running malicious code on your computer by preventing code not signed by a registered Apple developer from running unless you give a specific approval, but it isn't a pana...

bully, bullies bullying bully, bully. Besides being a broken record, you're simply an ignorant jerk that thinks he knows far more than he does. Yup, more name calling an bullying by you, in a series of attacks you started, now adding new name calling. You read a few things, and you think you know e...

Re: Is distilled water ok to use if previously frozen??

You are confirming yourself as a straight up internet bully, complete with name calling, and you think it is fine, no apologies. But there is one thing you and other bullies clearly dislike, which is when people stand up to you, which I'm happy to do. Internet bullying should be called out. Even yo...

Re: My experience with Kaiser Permanente

I should add that I also bought masks on my own since the number of masks on "formula" at Kaiser is limited. The CPAP.com has "return insurance" on most, so your risk is limited, if, that is, you are an organized person who returns them on time within the rules. It took me too long to figure out tha...

Re: High CO2 - Please help

If your doctor suspects this and you are having debilitating medical issues I'd have thought he'd have you tested to make a more positive diagnosis - but I don't really have specific medical knowledge about this as an issue, though. Sleep labs, among others, have CO2 sensors they can attach to your ...

Re: Is distilled water ok to use if previously frozen??

Another "technically correct" statement. Found the prepper. You are just straight up internet bullying again. Even when you can't disagree with what I've written, you still try to attack me. Not only that, your bully attack is also factually wrong. I live in California - earthquake country. **Every...
