Full Face Mask Recommendations for Active Sleepers?
I am currently using the AirTouch F20 full face mask, but I am having some issues with the fit. I constantly change positions while sleeping and I like to sleep on my stomach or my side. This has the unfortunate side-effect of disturbing the seal on the mask and the resultant rush of air causes me t...

Re: When do you start to feel better?
How many hours of sleep are you getting? Are those hours fragmented with very many wake ups? Do you take any medications of any kind? If so, what? I saw some improvement in a couple of symptoms pretty much right away but some of the other stuff took months to notice. What symptoms are you having th...

When do you start to feel better?
Maybe I'm being impatient or unrealistic, but when did you notice a change? I'm a month in. I'm definitely not as cranky as I normally am in the morning and nodding off has decreased slightly, but I was hoping for something a little more. I realize I most likely have 20 years (probably had sleep apn...

Re: Discrepancies Between ResMed and Sleepyhead Readings
I think you are seeing the 30 day average and not one night detailed on the machine's LCD screen. You need to change the value to 1 day/night instead of 30. It defaults to 30 day unless you change it and if you lose power or something it will reset to 30 day. So verify the time value and see if you...

Discrepancies Between ResMed and Sleepyhead Readings
I've been noticing that the information displayed on my ResMed Autoset is different from the information I'm getting with Sleepyhead. Does anyone know why this is? For example, on the ResMed I'm getting an AHI of 2.6, while Sleepyhead shows an AHI of 1.28. If my AHI is really 2.6, isn't that a bit h...

Dealing with Mask Issues
I am having a bit of trouble with my current setup. This is my second week of CPAP therapy, and to be honest I'm very overwhelmed with it all. I have the ResMed F30 Full Face mask and I am having a bit of trouble with leakage (mainly from the nasal portion of the mask). I'm a side-sleeper but I real...
