Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I found out about the recall three days ago. My husband and I both use Respironics machines and we received NO communication from our DME at all (said DME has now been fired and we signed with a new company).

Re: Frankenstein Mask...
I am very happy to report that I've been using the FrankenMask since I posted here and it had solved ALL of my fit issues. I liked the P10, but I would dislodge it frequently and wake up. I liked the Brevida mask very much because its squishy seal stays put better for me, but the F&P headgear is awf...

Frankenstein Mask...
I have gone full mad scientist here. In my search for a mask that works for me I found I liked the P10 the best, especially the minimalist headgear. But I seem to be able to dislodge the nasal pillows pretty easily. So I tried the Brevida and the nasal apparatus seems to be great, but the headgear s...

Yes, What Pugsy said. It's not a pillow style at all.

Re: How is N30i for active side sleepers
YMMV but with 4 nights under the N30i, I'm pretty darn happy! I'm a pretty active sleeper, normally left/right/back/then sometimes almost over on my stomach (LOL!) and with very few exceptions, the cushion has stayed put surprisingly well. The only time I've had an issue if if I really bury my nose...

How is N30i for active side sleepers
Just as it says... I'm all over the bed, flopping from side to side all night, very little time on my back. I LOVED the Dreamwear, but I couldn't keep it stable throughout the night. I'm hoping the N30i has solved the stability issues. Disclaimer: I fully understand that mask fit and performance is ...

Re: Looking to Trade Masks's / Try Diff ones.... I have new/sealed Resmed Airfit P-10 Pillow Style Mask
I don't have anything sealed right now, but I have a bag full of masks that were only worn for a few hours, or up to one night. I have: Quattro FFM Medium Mirage FX for her Mirage Liberty large mouth mask with all sizes of nasal pillows Airfit N10 standard Airfit N20 small frame and headgear (but no...

Re: Leak graph question
It's probably just a miscalculation in the vent rate showing more excess leak with one mask over another. The machine doesn't know exactly which mask you are using and all masks have slightly different vent rates at whatever pressure is being used. The machine takes sort of an average at the beginn...

Re: Leak graph question
If you don't see that bottom leak line it's because it is on the 0.0 line and you just can't see it. It's there but not visible. Thank you! I suspected that. But that leads me to another question... Why does the P10 show such an increase in leak over the Brevida? The Brevida was leaking like crazy,...

Leak graph question
Good morning all! I tried a new mask last night (the Brevida) and it just did not work for me. I finally switched back to the P10 just after 6 am. Why does the P10 show two leak lines and the Brevida only shows one? I *think* my machine reports the intentional leak PLUS any other unintentional leaks...

Re: Full Face Mask or Pillows?????
I am experiencing difficulty with a full face mask with big leaks 25-35%. I have tried 3 full face masks, F20, F10, F30. I used a P10 for a long time until I was told by the sleep doctor chin straps do not work, and it would not matter if I used a FF mask or a nasal pillow because the machine will ...

Re: accrn's therapy thread
Well... the leak lines look good... now if you can get the little leaks to quit bothering you. Did you say you've tried earplugs? So far, with the Nuance Pro, I haven't had any leaks that woke me up (fingers crossed that this trend continues). It isn't the noise that bothers me, it's the feeling of...
