FREE to good home: gently and barely used Bleep and Sleepweaver Elan
I have a Bleep Dreamport hose with several of the nose attachment ports. This is the non-magnetic one, the original. Used just a few nights. I also have a Sleepweaver Elan mask fit set with the headgear and all 3 sizes of the cloth masks. I only used the medium size, and only for 2 nights. If you pa...

Re: CPAP newbie, question about pressure increase
He's a DO, but supposed to be the best sleep "doc" in this town. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for another visit. I believe that the rationale was that the AHI was getting worse as the pressure increased, as well as more waking up from leaking. Either way though, higher pressure or lower, m...

Re: CPAP newbie, question about pressure increase
Awww, thanks, Bednbones! It's hard to find people who care about this. The appt was *ok*. Not great but ok. He tuned the machine down to 12.5 max and I got a new mask, and we set a follow up for two weeks, which this this Tuesday. I guess in retrospect that was a decent thing to try. The good news i...

Re: CPAP newbie, question about pressure increase
The turning off and on are potty breaks.... Or sometimes an afternoon nap. Cause I'm exhausted.
I see the sleep doc in just a few hours with all this data, can't wait and hope it's a good appt with answers for me

Re: CPAP newbie, question about pressure increase
Thanks, and yes I will post some results as soon as I read/learn about how to do so effectively, and figure out what a "normal" night is for me since I'm all over the map. I should also have said that I definitely have very mixed apneas. Sometimes OSA's are much higher, sometimes CSA's are much high...

Re: CPAP newbie, question about pressure increase
Thank you!
My pressure settings are 5-20. Usually the pressure when I wake up is 10-12 or so, and I don't worry about that. Sometimes thought it's 15-17, and that's usually when I have leak problems.
