Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers

I registered my Philips Auto CPAP the last full week of June. I received a refurbished Philips Auto CPAP (zero hours on it) last week. City/State that was on shipping label to return recalled machine was Mt. Pleasant, Pa.

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers

Today I received a call from my DME supplier regarding a replacement device. I will get an email when it ships. They said to keep power cord, tubing, mask, humidifier, sd card and modem from my current device to use with replacement device. They said my prescribed pressures have been set on replacem...

Re: daily tub cleaning?

My Phillips is on recall so now I'm using a Resmed S9 Autoset with humidifier and heated hose. I wash everything (excluding machine and filter) with soap and warm water every 2 weeks. Occasionally I wipe down machine with a baby wipe. I use a mask liner and I wash that every week. Before the mask li...

Re: Bed Pillows That Work With Your Mask?

This buckwheat hull blended with foam pillow. https://pur-sleep.com/products/cpap-pillow.
My mask is a Phillips Dreamwear full face mask; hose connects at top of head. I also use a Pad A Cheek mask liner and a North American Wellness hose holder.
This combination works well for me.

Re: Dreamwear Full Face Mask vs Amara View

The Amara View FFM did not work for me. The size large was too small. I switched to the Dreamwear FFM size large and I'm happy with it. I purchased a Pad A Cheek mask liner that seems to have helped with leaks, even though it wasn't designed for that. Can't remember how many leaks without the liner...

Re: Chin collapsing

hockobo, you said "The struggle is real. I have this issue as well (chin falling back, and occasionally finding my lower lip outside of the mask). I think Jason from thelankylefty27 Youtube channel describes this and recommends some possible solutions which I have tried. I could tighten the bottom s...

Re: MASK LINER FOR DREAMWEAR FULL FACE MASK

I purchased a Pad A Cheek. I messaged the owner. She promptly replied with an email and a phone call. I like that this liner should last at least 6 months. I also like that some say it helped with leaks.

With lower AHI wouldn't it make sense that your sleep would be better and you would need less of it?

Everything is theory until you post some charts.
I don't know if lower AHI means less sleep is needed. I do know that before I went on cpap I felt much better with 8 hours sleep.

Switched machines and sleeping less hours

I used a Dreamstation Auto with humidifier and heated hose for 7 months. I stopped using it (due to Phillips recall) and have been using a Resmed S9 Autoset with humidifier and heated hose for 2 weeks. With the Dreamstation I sleep about 8 hours per night. With the S9 I sleep about 6 1/2 hours. Sett...

Re: Philips Respironics Recall

I have moderate sleep apnea. I started therapy 8 months ago. I stopped using my device 10 days ago, which is when I found out it was being recalled. I purchased a used one on Craigslist. The recall was like a blessing in disguise. I say that because I didn't have a backup machine and now I do.

Re: Any SD card

Today I spoke with a Resmed rep about a sd card for a Resmed S9 Autoset, and she said any sd card under 8 GB could be used.
