Re: too much of a good thing?
We had a known bug in the ResMed S9 model machines where it would get stuck reporting the same data night after night and it was AHI 0.0. Usually fixed by just unplugging the machine from the wall outlet and then plugging it back in and forcing a reboot of the machines internal software. I had a S9...

Re: too much of a good thing?
Are you sleeping more soundly in general now? Fewer wake ups that you remember??? Things seem pretty normal I guess - ? I stopped taking advil/and or tylenol a couple weeks ago, that would be the only different thing I can think of. It was for back and neck pain which is always there to some degree...

too much of a good thing?
Most months, I have one "zero event" night, and sometimes maybe 2 since March. I switched to a nasal pillow mask in mid-March and my numbers have really gone way down : pressure, leak, AHI, the whole 9 yards. In May, my overall numbers were slightly up, but the last 3 weeks of May are the peak here ...

Re: My Ahi Average is about 1.5-2, what adjustments should I make?
If you don't already, try some stretches, focus on traps, jaw/suboccipitals and hips . Also look at an adductor stretch . Traps, just a side tilt is fine. For hips, a 90 90 hip stretch. For suboccipitals/jaw, maybe look at a chin tuck. Adductors, there are many options. Don't overdo the stretching, ...

Re: Bleep curiosity
$14.99 on Amazon is not bad. Makesleepeasy.com has them with bulk pricing too...even better. OK. I'm in Canada, and canada cpap supply, which is one of the bigger online providers, is asking $47 for a 16 night set. Bleep in general does not appear to be widely available here - 14.99 through Amazon ...

Bleep curiosity
I will try the bleep I think at some point, but on just an initial look at it, the dreamport stickies look pretty expensive ? I'm sure this has been brought up before who knows how many times -sorry for one more post on it - I figured there are ways to minimize the cost to some extent and wondered w...

Re: MyAir is really useless isn't it
That chart blows my mind. I had no idea that was even possible. My leak has improved with a recent mask change, but before that I was putting along at around at around 8L/m thinking that was fine and there was no need to do anything about it.

Re: Switched to pillows from nasal
Great to hear you're doing so well with the P10! Finding the right mask can be the biggest struggle in CPAP use, and it sounds as though you've won that battle. Be aware that the straps tend to stretch out. For a while, washing and drying will help to counteract that, but when you see your leak rat...

Switched to pillows from nasal
went from an N20 to P10 to try it - so far, really liking it. At first I had to get used to the sensation that it was just barely hanging on, since the straps are a lot lighter. The climateline probably contributes to that sensation with weight but I make sure enough tubing is sitting on the mattres...

Re: 150 Nights In
OK, thanks much ! Good to know. I wasn't aware of the onset / wake element. The central number seemed low and I figured it shouldnt be an issue. But obstructive events strike me as just a practical problem, that can be attacked many ways. Central events have this mysterious, slightly unnerving vibe ...

I had the same feeling - didn't think I slept at all. But they got all they needed.

150 Nights In
Hi ! New to the forum. Started with CPAP/APAP last September. Probably needed it years ago , but gonna just look forward only. After 150 days, my readings (from the machine ) are : AHI 1.8 AI 1.7 CAI 1.4 Pressure - 9.4 (machine range setting is 5-15) Leak = 10 L/m About 15 days each month, my AHI re...
