Re: Sterilizing and/or Replacing equipment
of course your supplier tells you to replace equipment on a regular basis........ MORE BUCKS FOR HIM!!!!! I have been on the hose for 15 years....never have I followed their requests. I replace a mask when it is either stretched out or no longer does what it is supposed to do  Nor do I wash my...

Re: OT: Heads up on my personal issues
Good vibes coming from my house to yours!!!!! My Mom was in the same boat but she was cognizant enough to take the final plunge herself. Of course it helped her, but the rest of us had to pick up the pieces . At least now she is with Dad in a better place and they can keep each other company. Love y...

Ex-Brit here too........welcome! I am 80 and have been on the "hose" a long time, and have no problem with it. Stick with it and you will be fine and it will become second nature to "hook up" when you hit the pillow at night. AGAIN, WELCOME TO THE ZOO!!!!!!

Re: Bongo
I have about 10 boxes of the Bleep that I no longer use, I will sell them to you for the cost of shipping. I am rather lazy and hated the time and effort to use the Bleep, so I switched back to my N20. If you want them just pm me.

Re: Mask Recommendations for Parkinson Patient with Dexterity Issue
I am situated in Canada and have had no problem getting Resmed or Respironics supplies from the U.S. ..... been buying cpap stuff for 13 years. I have even bought from Cpap.com frequently. I have also bought an autoset 10 from a forum member in the U.S.... we just cheated by sending it to a friend i...

Re: Can This Snorer’s Marriage Be Saved? Yes, With Mouth Tape.
  When I first started out 13 years ago, I did not want to use a full face mask. I taped for a couple of years until I could keep my yap closed when using a pillow mask. I m still here with no health problems from the tape use...... many on here tape all the time. I found that by taping my...

Re: Is Your CPAP Store Canada legit?
You can use ANY cpap store ... U.S or Canada to buy supplies, just not a machine. I shop in both counties, wherever I get the best deal at the time. U.S. companies will sell you ANY cpap supplies, but are not permitted to sell you a machine. As a matter of fact, I just needed to get filters for my R...

Re: DME lies. Thought you would all get a chuckle out of this.
I don't use a DME regularly as I am self pay, so, I just look up several different dmes and see who will give me the best price and service at the time. There are not many of us long timers that change out our gear as often as most dmes say...... thats a big money grab for them and less left in YOUR...

I have purchased a machine from LSAT, great deal, and easy to deal with. LSAT is a great guy, you will never have a problem with shipping or the machine.

Re: Got my F&P Evora Full Face Mask !!
Why do you take it off to use the biffy at night? I have never taken mine off, just disconnect the large hose from the face mask short one and head to the bathroom. I have been at this since 2009 and have never heard the "elephant hose" comment from any of my family or quests. Old lady walking aroun...

Re: Bleep Eclipse?
You can't believe how happy I am to hear it will probably be out this month. My "bleeping" bleep has bit the dust and I have been using my P10 and my N20 for over two weeks. My Bleep has a leak and for the life of me I can't find out where, after all its about a year and a half old. I put it on ever...

Re: Bleep noise - is this normal?
One other thing to check ...... You know the 2 little "posts" on each of the receptacle portion .. well there are two little "bumps" at the bottom that require the posts to sit into. If either of these posts are not properly seated there will be an air leak. Found this out by accident when I watched...

I just used a hockey mouth guard until I stopped grinding my teeth. My dentist was very happy, actually he was the one to tell me to get a hockey mouthguard.

Re: What has everybody affected by the recall done?
Don't feel bad, my back-up was a 2009 F&P non-auto but was using a Phillips 60 series.... but who cares, you use what you have. I bought a Resmed airsence 10 auto when all this went down . I spent a week with my son and left my machine at home because he had a PR Dreamstation as a spare for me to us...
