Re: Reasons sleep is unsatisfying on Cpap - Poll
Why can't they make more sizes of masks?--I would love to use a hybrid (no taping), but the Liberty just does not fit and I can't even try on a Hybrid at my DME. Faces come in more sizes than shoes--and shoes cost a lot less! We are being ripped off! Totally! {{{Update: shortly after this discussion...

Re: Sinus Irritation with Nasal Pillows
My sinus irritation disappeared day one.
I had to tweak the level--one too high=rainout;
one too low=snot fountain all the next day.
Does that make sense?

Re: Relief -- Looks Like This Is Going To Be Okay
I know I've been accused of looking for the worst in people; but have you ever considered the possibility that the mess-up was NOT an accident? Does anyone know who to contact to get that looked into? This might NOT be an isolated incident. If this is a pattern, people may have been hurt, and others...

Re: Discussion of Small Jaws as Cause of Obstructive Sleep Apnea
I remember the very first thing my orthodontist said to me. "The other dentist shouldn't have removed my impacted 12-year molars; I could have made room for them." --And had it gone that way, the Quattro and the Liberty may have actually FIT me; or I may not even need CPAP. (insert expletive here)

Re: How do you maintain your dignity while using your CPAP?
I second that! Dignity is taking care of yourself, giving yourself the chance to continue living, enjoying the improved health that is within our reach. It is not giving into a system full of corruption and obsolescence, while quietly crawling into a corner to die. Dignity is accepting a challenge a...

Re: Marking Silicone
I'd like to try to reinforce some silicone. Has anyone tried the moldable earplugs or 2-part kneaded food grade silicone to modify cushions or pillows? Will anything stick?

Re: Jack Hanna uses CPAP
Maybe the reason that so many people think obesity causes apnea is because of diagnosis--or lack thereof. Take a roomful of random people: Any one with eyesight can pick out most of the obese people; Now tell us who has apnea. . .

Re: Mirage Swift Fx
Another complaint about the Mirage FX: why only one size of headgear? My little froggy head has no adjustment left should I lose weight. (always hoping, folks) The loops for the back strap sit a good inch higher above my ears than the illustration, putting the strap in a place where it wants to shif...

It was a real mess--my brother-in-law lost a fair amount of moustache hair.
This could be fun/funny. I'll let you all know how it turns out.

Re: My camping experience and cpap
Go to your local fabric store and buy a yard or so of the finest mesh fabric you can find--like bridal veil tulle or silk screen fabric. Then just fold or gather it around your equipment, pinning or rubber-banding all the openings. This should exclude the creepy-crawlies. Think of those goofy little...
