Re: my update: not much better with the CPAP

Hi Everyone, Thanks for the support, encouragement and suggestions. As far as the Graves goes, I started meds for it but don't go back to the Endo (and get bloodwork) until the end of the month. That said, I just paid out of pocket and ordered my own thyroid tests online and will get blood drawn thi...

my update: not much better with the CPAP

Hey Everyone! So, I've continued to try to adjust to the CPAP and it seems to be getting worse, not better. I don't really know why all the sudden I can't stand it (more than usual). Maybe it is the Graves and we all know that I won't really get settled until that is under control. But lately, when ...

Re: got my data :)

so sorry mollete for my bad spelling!

Okay, I like making the list of things to improve. Boy, I can only imagine how I'd feel if my sleep looked like what the goal picture is. That would be amazing.

Re: OT: is-a-d-h-d-actually-sleep-deprivation

I'm extremely ADD. I probably should have been put on medication as a kid. Its bad. It will be really interesting to see if there are changes once my sleep improves. That would be so amazing. Because its not really that fun in my head most days. I can't ever find anything in there, lol.

Re: got my data :)

Molette, are you saying I shouldn't even be trying to get acclimated to the CPAP b/c I don't really need it?

Re: got my data :)

Okay, do you think my doctor lied to me? Just stupid? Did I spend a couple thousand dollars on a Titration study and machine that I didn't need? Do I keep trying every night with the CPAP when I don't even need it? And, BTW, even if I don't need it..you guys aren't getting rid of me. I <3 you. I've ...

Re: got my data :)

what kills me is that my husband and I sat in the doctors office before getting my CPAP machine and he pointed out all these places where I "stopped breathing" for 30-45 seconds at a time. Was he just putting on a show to sell a machine? They definitely said "apnea" and they said it was much worse d...

Re: CPAP newbie- air flow bothering spouse

I'm gonna try some of these suggestions too. I am finding that this is a dance of compromise. I always used to fall asleep on my husbands shoulder but now I can't lay like that b/c of the air blowing on him. I miss that.

Re: OT: I wish we had a "like" button

hmmm...I wasn't thinking in terms of "popularity" just in terms of efficiency. Someone had a good night...it would be nice to "like" that, etc. But, interesting point.
