Re: Inconsistent use of CPAP
Hi all,
Thanks for the replies. I am a bit confused. Why not? I believe that this is similar to what we have done. We have raised the minimum pressure till the snores decreased.

Re: CPAP Noise is back
Hi Pugsy and Jean, Thank you very much for this. I will make sure to follow your guidance and wash/ replace the filters accordingly. I will also look for the guide book and read it. Since we have exchanged the devise before I need to make sure that I have the manual. I am pretty sure I will be able ...

Oh that is good to know! You know I am not good with noise. I hope we can find a way for my dh to use it when travelling too. One step of a time.

Re: CPAP Noise is back
We have a dark blue big filter and a light blue smaller one attached to it. I am guessing that the bigger one is the foam filter?

Re: CPAP Noise is back
lol. Especially for us who sleep with an open mouth. I know I do. :D Let's see what everyone else says. How often do we have to replace the filter by the way? I really wish we would have been briefed to begin with. Over here, it is impossible to get all the information from the physicians. It is lik...

Thanks Barb, that is great to know.
So it is safe to take out the small light blue filter that clicks into it?

Re: Inconsistent use of CPAP
Sure Pugsy, we will do that. I am trying to convince our insurance that they will cover sleep apnea as the previous one did. I am hoping that we can get the Airsense at some point. As for now, I have already been on Padacheek and I am about to place an order with some products that will hopefully ma...

Hi there,
Thank you so much. This looks really good. I will make sure that we invest in this as soon as he got used to the treatment.

Re: CPAP Noise is back
Haha. That is unfortunately true. I have always been a light sleeper but I do sleep well when alone. I will try my very best to find ways to get used to it though, as I don't like sleeping in separate rooms and I really want this to work for us both. In terms of buying a new machine, I think it is b...

Re: Inconsistent use of CPAP
I totally agree with you. I will have a serious talk with him and I hope that he will finally get used to the machine so he will always wear it.
I am trying very hard to make it all as comfortable as possible for him by hopefully buying the snuggle hose and nose pads etc.

Re: CPAP Noise is back
Thanks Pugsy, I also don't know how we can sort this out. I am not giving up though, and I will try our humidifier as a white noise hoping that it will help me to be able to sleep though these snores. Do you think we should experiment with the pressure at all? It's good to know that the ResMed Airse...

Inconsistent use of CPAP
Hi all, I am so sorry for posting so many times this week but I am worried that my husbands sleep apnea may get worse if he doesn't use the machine daily. He is travelling a lot (40-80 % at times) and since he is not comfortable travelling with the CPAP machine, most of the time he travels he goes w...

Re: Snuggle Hose
Could I order it from Karen? Would you mind sharing the website? I would love to support her and knowing that it helped you is great. Did it reduce the noise at all?
