Re: CPAP Noise is back

Thanks so much Pugsy, that is good to know. We will experiment with it all to see if it works. Last night I could feel a vibrating snore that kept me awake again. Do you have any suggestion what I could do? We increased the pressure from 14-20 already. Its been 1 year and we still didn't get used to...

Re: Snuggle Hose

Awesome!! That is great to know. I doubt that we will be able to buy it in our country but I will try to order it asap :D

Are there any other accessories you guys can recommend? The aim is to make it all less noisy for me and more comfortable for my husband. :-)

Snuggle Hose

Has anyone ever tried these products and can give feedback on if they work well? I thought it might be nice to try to make life easier for us by trying the Snuggle Hose or Snuggle Straps for example. I have read that the snuggle hose might decrease the sound and the Snuggle Strap helps eliminate the...

Re: CPAP Noise is back

Thanks so much for all the replies. We will try all the suggestions and I will give you an update on how it goes. Since my husband is travelling a lot it has been very difficult to get used to the machine. I feel that he is struggling as well and many times he 'falls asleep' on the couch but I think...

Re: CPAP Noise is back

I have spoken to Philips and we will give back the machine and mask to see where the problem lays.

I will keep you all posted in case we have some useful information to share.

CPAP Noise is back

Hi all, We had posted a few months back as we were facing an issue with the squeaking noise of my husbands Cpap machine. After complaining to Philips they sent the machine back to the US and it came back fixed and as quiet as ever. Now that we purchased a new mask (same as before, Amara Gel) the mom...

Re: Still struggling

Hi all, Thank you so much and these are great suggestions. Being on this forum has really helped us a lot in the past and I do appreciate all your advise! We will see if fastening or loosing the mask will make any difference. In terms of the mask liner, this is one of the things we haven't yet tried...

Re: Still struggling

Thanks so much Mrs. Rin.

We are using the Amara Full Face Mask. It is the only mask that fit him when we first got the mask. It is pretty tight and my dh has marks on his face but we will try to tighten it more to see if it makes any change. I really hope that it will solve the issue.

Still struggling

Dear all, I haven't posted in a while as my husband was travelling for the entire month and hence I couldn't monitor the development of the snores. I will post the charts as soon as he has used the devise for a few weeks. He is back at home since 3 nights, and even though we increased the air pressu...

Re: Back to square one

Oh no! Could the snored be related to the pressure being too high? It was fine till a week ago.
