Re: It's Not Always Acid Reflux!

Strangely enough, I do suffer from acid reflux, but ever since I started using the CPAP machine, I have not had one episode...even after taking the mask off early in the night. Same with me, GERD has basicly vanished with the use of xPAP .... I'll still have the rare episode after eating spicy food...

Re: Reputable CPAP supply sellers on Ebay?

If they're a good price pick them up .. If worried about sanitation, clean them first, which is always a good idea...

I have seen packs of 2, 4, 6 and up of different pillows all opened but at great discounted prices.. Totally worth it for anyone..

No.
My hubby had a swollen uvula once, caused by an infection.
Not by clean, moist, moving air.
Would have to agree with this... IMO xPAP is not to blame...

Re: Sleep Apnoea and Unrelated Surgery

I had an endoscopy to check my stomach for an GERD as I was diagnosed with sleep apnoea they would not sedate me to put the camera down and I had to do it with a local throat anaesthetic. I am pretty sure that is standard now.. the same thing was done for me last year when I had the same procedure....

Re: New User— Forgot my Water tray

The Respironics DreamStation machines have a removable humidifier so you can simply detach the entire humidifier and should be able to attach your hose to the blower. I have not seen one to confirm but if you can attach the hose to the blower unit it will work. I don't think it will work without th...

Re: New User— Forgot my Water tray

For the Dreamstation you can use it without the humidifier same with the ResMed 10 machines except you'll need the side cover in its place if you don't have the chamber ...

You should just be able to click it off very easy no force is nessescary... Push on either side and comes right off..
OP is using a DreamStation machine...not ResMed...they use a different hose to humidifier connecting hose.
It's early .. just saw that .... 8)
