Camping in a Trailer and Boon Docking
Read many posts about camping and batteries but what about those in Travel Trailers with a battery? Our travel trailer has a 12 volt battery that charges from the vehicle. We are planning a 3 day 2 night trip to San Antonio and thinking about staying at Walmart s and the like on the way down and bac...

Re: AirrSense 10 Humidiifier Question
I was told by the DME for my airsense 10 that if you don't use distilled you can use bottled and in a pinch tap. Using bottled or tap will not mess up your machine you would just need to clean out the chamber more often. For bottled I would stay away from any thing thats says mineral water.

Re: Switching to a FF Mask
I found my lips where getting pretty dry, should I be using up some lip balm. I didn't have any as I've never used it before. I've always had my Humidity fairly low when using a nasal mask. How well does this translate to a FF Mask to help prevent mouth dryness. Occasionally my mouth would open to ...

Wild night last night with air leakage
I woke up sort of not getting enough air and the machine sounded like a super loud turbine fan. In my stupor I looked at my display and it was around 14 which about right for when I've checked it. Also the venting from my mask was like I was blowing out candles 4 feet away. I tried restarting thinki...

Re: Can I still get a mask
You can probably get one mask but for replacements insurance is going to use some sort of schedule. In my case its something like a new cushion ever 90 days, frame every 6 months, straps every 6 months, hose maybe every year, machine every 5 years. They are not going to cover say 6 masks only one so...

Re: Water yuckies
I have same machine and have used the same water and I'm with pretty much everyone else. I just fill my tank every night. I too would start at the filter and then the tank. I have only dumped my tank a few times, the last time friday before packing it up before a trip. When I have dumped and rinsed ...

Re: No SD Card in AirSense 10
To add more info to this thread my Sleep Dr for the 90 day follow up asked me to bring the card. when I picked up my machine the DME pointed to the slot where it could go but there was no card. Told them about the Sleep Dr and she sort of grumbled about the Dr not thinking they can see the info onli...

Re: Apria after me for cost of stolen CPAP
Ironically, if the thief were using it, the patient would be seen as "compliant." Ironic, isn't that! :D Thanks for the feedback, everyone. It's early in this process, and I'll try to contact Apria directly today. I have a feeling that I'm stuck for the $1900. To answer a couple of questions posted...

Re: At home sleep test and treatment?
My PCP gave me a "script" for an at home sleep test. My Insurance and hospital network are the same so I just called the Sleep Clinic of the closest hospital and they set me up with a home machine and did the test. It was like any other lab work and got a report back. I then contacted my network's S...

Re: Apria after me for cost of stolen CPAP
Are you in possession of the machine? If so, I suggest that you remove the modem (don't make it easy for them you know if that you're using it or where it is). I would assume not using it (based on whats posted assuming its no longer in possession of the OP) is reason they asked for the machine bac...

Re: SD Card and Sleepyhead
However, dumb question - Sleepyhead warns to write-protect my SD card. I understand what that means, but I just want to make sure that I leave the SD card in unlock when it's in my CPAP and then when I put it in my laptop, I lock it, and then unlock it again when returning it to the CPAP, right? yes

What do mean by off. The only way my mask is coming off is if I take it off or one of the straps or fittings break.

Re: How do you get the water out of the jug?
But the only thing about buying multiple bottles is the nazi taxes on the bottles I bought this 24 pack at CVS the other day, I normally don't buy these small bottled water but I was in a jam. It was $3.44 but I had to pay an extra $1.20 for the bottle tax. The large 1 gallon and 2.5 gallon also ha...

Re: Solar Charging CPAP?
One issue not brought up is how much time is going to be available to set up and use any solar panel? I'm assuming the prime sun hours are going to be on the river fighting rapids.
Also in the woods it gets dark a least an hour before real sunset.
