Getting mildew smell out of silicone pillows
I recently bought a Respironics Nuance Pro mask, for some reason it has a musty mildew smell in all the nasal pillows? I am thinking it is the smell of the silicone they use. Any tips on how to soak it or get the odor out.

I think you want to increase you max pressure. your max pressure is 13 and you hit 13 multiple times and it would not go up higher.

Re: Resmed S9 adapter to battery power-bank
This is the cheapest one I could find. you need something that is 24 volts. you would have to trace the pinout on the ResMed machine as well to make an adaptor. https://www.amazon.com/TalentCell-PB240B1-Rechargeable-Batteries-Smartphone/dp/B07SWBS55F/ref=sr_1_6?crid=10V2SRAHWTSTL&dchild=1&keywords=2...

Re: Have you had a COVID-19 Vaccine or have an appt?
After I got my second shot of Pfizer. About 15 hours later I woke up freezing and shivering. My house was at 70 degrees and I had to put 4 layers of clothing on. My temp was 96.5, I could not get warm. I felt like I had the full blown flu. After about an hour I went back to sleep and woke up drenche...

Re: Doctor percribed a med but im AFRAID to take it.
I was afraid of starting to take sleeping pills as well. Ambian is only suppose to be used for Short periods. I have been taking 2mg of Lunesta for about 2 years. It helps quiet my mind so I can fall asleep. I was afraid of the side effects as well. Just remember during the trials they have to repor...

Re: Dreamwear pillows dont fit looking for alternatives
Thanks, I am using the dreamwear right now and looking for a different kind of fit. Is the P10 the one most people are happy with vs the nuance one in the thread that is half the price?

Dreamwear pillows dont fit looking for alternatives
I have been struggling to get the Dreamwear nasal pillows to fit properly. The small almost feels too small and after about 2 hours I have to take it off because it feels like it is stuck in my nose. When I use the med it seems like it is too big and starts leaking if I turn on my side. I tried usin...

Re: Caffeine...has anyone been able to quit?
I use to have about one or two pots of coffee a day. And a couple sodas. Of course I could not sleep very well and felt my heart skipping a beat every once in a while. I cut out caffeine completely cold turkey, but I did substitute it with decaf coffee and caffeine free soda. For about three days I ...

Re: AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow Mask
I have been wearing the dreamwear nasal pillows for a while, but i feel like it really does not fit right, med is too big and small is too small. Also the angle of the dreamwear feels like to points to the tip of my nose more than in my nose. Do you like the feel of the P10 better? is the sizing the...

Re: Cleaning unreachable parts inside the machine
I recently got a second hand bilevel machine. It had 6000 hours on and had the smell of smoke and/or must in it. I tried to clear the ports out with alcohol wipes but that did not make it go away. I ended up taking the entire machine apart. It was very simple only two screws. There was a lot of dust...

Re: Questions regarding Dreamwear Nasal mask...
I have the pillows and the nasal mask. The cool part is you can switch them out once you buy the frame. The nasal mask was always leaking because i sleep on my side and my upper lip got sweaty with it on. I have the pillows....im kinda mixed on them. The med ones are way too big for me and they leak...

Re: Has anyone had Kaiser give them an outside referral?
I just wanted to give an update, I went to my pcp at Kaiser and I told him that I wanted a second opinion on a sleep study mainly because I think the 02 sensor was way off! During my Kaiser test it said my heartbeat got up to 196bpm and my 02 level went down to 81%. I have my own 02 monitor and it d...

Re: Possible solution for that annoying front exhaust on Philips mask
I would be afraid that the filter would fly inside my nose and down my lungs at night. You could probably hot glue a filter to the outside and that would stick.

Has anyone had Kaiser give them an outside referral?
Hi, I am looking at getting a second sleep test after I was diagnosed by kaiser for having mild sleep apnea. I found a company that does sleep tests with eeg so they know when I would be asleep. In order to get the test done I need a referral from my doctor. I will be paying for the test out of my o...
