I know, it might even tear from my cuts. It'll spread when it stretches as well, as the edges are thickened and obviously I won't be able to duplicate that.
I couldn't use the Dreamwear FFM partly due to noise.

Re: Airfit F30 Squeezing Nose
I think it has two holes to make it more sturdy... I might get the guts to modify the opening screen. I don't have very large nostrils but I do move a lot. It's almost like the cushion gets creased and the holes are partly blocked. Amara View leaked for me, and eventually hurt my face, but many do l...

Re: Airfit F30 Squeezing Nose
I know just what you mean, but, for me I think it's more the holes moving so they don't align with my nostrils, on the F30. It doesn't take much for the plastic to block them, and I wake up with obstructed breathing because I tape my mouth.
I switch between F30 which I love otherwise, and Simplus.

Re: ResMed AirFit™ F30 Full Face CPAP Mask?
I only breathe through my nose and have really liked using the F30. I have my mouth taped and a chin strap (otherwise my chin can fall out of the mask when my jaw relaxes during sleep). It's quiet, it seals pretty well for me (of course, better with a liner-so far homemade but Pad a Cheek is working...

Re: Full Face Mask
I have stuck with a FFM for the exact reasons you describe. Despite the headband and tape across my lips, my cheeks would puff out until air forced its way out of my mouth or I swallowed it. I tried many many adjuncts and different nasal masks, cervical collar, etc. Dedicated attempts for months if ...

Re: Resmed AirFit F30
I should have mentioned that among the huge number of FFMs I have tried, the Dreamwear is one. I liked the idea but not the noise and leaks. The F30 cushion fits me so nicely.

Re: Chin strap and FFM?
After years on CPAP, using FFMs, I am just starting to have annoying jaw drop. Maybe I'm more relaxed when sleeping now, who knows. I'm experimenting with chin straps and have had the most luck with fleecy elastic tied in a loop, in front of my ears, vertically. It's not the most comfortable under t...

Re: Resmed AirFit F30
Thanks to a lovely member here, I was able to try this. I figured I'd let my other half try it and then pass it on because I've tried a billion masks and still have only been able to use ONE. I don't like that in case of soreness (which I have lately), inability to keep getting parts if it gets disc...

Re: Resmed AirFit F30
I'd really like to try the F30- the only mask that works for me is the Simplus. I've tried everything! It's not ideal so I'm always hoping I will find a mask I can ah least alternate with it. If anyone doesn't like the F30 and has a small, maybe they would trade me for a Simplus or sell me the F30? ...

Re: Airsense10 continues bright light all night now
Th odd thing was that the reboot didn't fix it until the second night of use after the reboot!

Yes, I have one for the house but I will try adding a small one near the machine.

Re: Extremely dry throat with auto humidity and mouth taped
Interesting... ranitidine, cough drops, and Xylimelts haven't helped. I sleep with the head of the bed elevated and am usually on my left side. I didn't tolerate higher pressures which is why I'm at 6. I also noticed I didn't have this issue the night I increased the humidity and had the bad mask wh...

Airsense10 continues bright light all night now
Normally, the bright white light on the top button goes out overnight... lately it shines brightly whenever the machine is running, which doesn't make it easier to sleep. During the day, I sleep the machine by holding this button down, but there doesn't seem to be anything you can do while the machi...
