Re: New machine - how to sync my sd card w/ OSCAR?
Create a new profile and try loading the data under that profile. I created new profiles when my wife and I got new machines even though they are the same model machine as the old ones.

Re: Help! According to your experienece: does the Evora FFM seal better than the Dreamstation and the F30 masks ?
My wife and I both used the F20 for a few years. We switched to the Evora about six months ago and are very happy with it. While I never had a leakage problem with the F20, my wife did. She has had much less of a problem with the Evora.

Re: Feeling like I'm suffocating.
Your starting pressure is kind of low. Some people feel like they are suffocating with pressure less than 7 0r 8 cm. Try raising your pressure to 8 and see how you do.

Re: New mask - now getting dry mouth
The mask in your avatar appears to go under your chin. If it did, it would help keep your mouth closed at night. My wife and I are both use a firm foam cervical collar with the Evora mask. The collar keeps our chin from dropping and our mouth from coming open. You can use a cervical collar or a chin...

Re: Insurance/Cpap Question
Check your insurance coverage to see what they will actually pay for. They may or may not reimburse you for purchases made over the internet. Many insurance companies require you to purchase your equipment through specific DME suppliers.

Re: CPAP or BPAP
With pressure that high, I would definitely recommend you change to a bi-level machine. Preferably the ResMed AirCurve 10 VAUTO.

Re: OT: Hints for saving cast iron skillet are needed
When I cleaned my mother-in-law's old iron skillet, I used a drill with a wire brush wheel on it. She had used it for several years without cleaning. Someone had told her that she should never clean it, so she would pour out any old grease and simply stick it in the oven until she needed it again. N...

It looks like you spend a lot of time at 11 or higher. I would recommend you try 11 for a while and see how you do.

Re: ResMed AirCurve Vauto & Cell Towers
My wife and I both received new AirCurce 10 VAUTO machines with modems in them. They were both manufactured in 2022 according to the serial number. Even though I don't use the My Air site, I went ahead and registered my machine just to see if it transmitted data to ResMed, and it did.
