Re: Aaaaand again: newbie struggles topic
With your min pressure set to 6, your data looks good. Give it some time (a few weeks) to see if you feel better.

Re: Newbie Sleepyhead report feedback please!
If it were me, I would work to get my AHI lower and then you can decide if the lower AHI correlates with feeling better.

Re: Had two bad nights back to back... any thoughts?
Another bad night... what setting do I need to change? Nights seem to start out okay but then go downhill when I get deeper into sleep. http://i.imgur.com/LPHNRCfl.png You need to raise your minimum pressure (it is currently set to 11). If you don't know how to access the Provider Mode, see https:/...

Re: Aaaaand again: newbie struggles topic
It is easy to see why you feel poorly.
As gwc says, you need to increase your minimum pressure. Start with 6 and then reevaluate after a few days.

Re: Dreaming I can’t breathe
If your machine is data capable, use sleepyhead to look at what was going on during the dream.
Your AHI of 3.2 may be fine or maybe lousy. If they are happening in clusters during REM then your treatment may be inadequate.

Re: Hi new to the cpap any help you be greatfull
Welcome to the forum. If you want to have less events due to obstruction, you need higher pressure. Do you see how the machine raises pressure when these events occur? If your pressure was already higher, those events may not happen. Increasing the lower pressure limit should help. You also have a n...

The more informed you are, the better you can help your doctor help you. A higher pressure can certainly cause some discomfort but generally we get used to it. Have you zoomed in on some of those H to see what they look like? Examine your data just before you take the mask off. Maybe you will see a...

Re: Complex Sleep Apnea - Hypopneas - Central or Obstructive
I am not sure if I understand your question. The majority of events shown are hypopneas which means that you need higher pressure. The UA means that the machine was unable to determine if the apnea was due to obstruction or not.

Re: Why do I keep taking the mask off at some point during the night?
Usually it is because the mask is foreign.
Other times it is because the pressure is too low so you feel like you are not getting enough air. Other times it is because treatment is inadequate and you are having too many events. Looking at your breathing data should help you determine the reason.

Re: Sleepyhead AHI Events During Ramp Time
Does anyone know if Sleepyhead software doesn't recognize events during ramp time, or is it possible the Res Med doesn't record events during ramp time? Sleepyhead just reports what the machine flags... SH doesn't recognize or interpret anything like that... unless you turn on the user defined flag...

I don't know what you mean by "purge". Don't delete any data. See the three posts below for help.
