Re: Which of these two BiPAP's are the best?

I don't mind people being anal. I just mind people berating other people for not being equally as anal. Clarification is great. Forcing non-pros to talk like pros on a public board strikes me as unwelcoming to non-pros, especially when even many pros are good at focusing on the actual questions peop...

Re: Which of these two BiPAP's are the best?

Many sources, including CPAP.com, use the terms bilevel and bipap interchangeably as synonyms, since the "bi" in "bipap" stands for bilevel: https://www.cpap.com/blog/difference-bipap-cpap/ https://www.rtmagazine.com/disorders-diseases/chronic-pulmonary-disorders/copd/bipap-noninvasive-ventilation-c...

Re: Which of these two BiPAP's are the best?

I would prefer to stay with the ResMed. I tend to lean toward recommending the brand ResMed any time that treating sleep comfortably is the primary goal, if someone has a choice. Especially when it comes to forms of bilevel for sleep. But I believe that other treatment goals may present arguments f...

would gladly ask for them straight away. Risks are minimal and potential for rewards are great. Whereas I personally would feel that timing and severity of illness are key enough judgment factors that would make me very cautious about weighing risk with potential benefit, even if hospitalized. On O...

Re: COVID 19, CPAP, Ventilator MEGA THREAD...everything go here please

It's the same Catch-22 scenario with many diseases. If you give certain medications to help the body react to and fight the disease, you risk causing death by your having increased inflammation in the body. If you lower reaction to the disease by giving other medications that lessen inflammation, yo...

Re: CPAP setup law

My understanding is that a prescription is required by law in order for authorized sellers to sell a machine. The idea of that law is that then a human being at the seller location is held responsible for making sure that the prescription is reflected in the specific machine that the seller sells. T...

Re: No Pugsy Criticism Allowed?

That sounds an awful lot like collusion sir. That would be for the district attorney to decide on conspiracy, wouldn't it? We would only be publicly, not secretly, funding the maintenance of property, without specific knowledge before or after the fact of any possible past or future crimes and with...

Re: No Pugsy Criticism Allowed?

For the record, all those pictures of Pugsy's flowerbeds and garden plots have suddenly taken on new meaning for me. Word of advice to Pugsy's husband: No Pugsy Criticism Allowed. My heart goes out to Pugsy though--only woman in the Missouri rurals without her very own backhoe. Maybe we need to take...

Re: No Vendor Criticism Allowed?

Lastly, my wife really doesn't need your push, she wants to kill me daily anyway, she just hasn't thought of a way to do without being caught yet. Don't let her talk to Pugsy, she might get some ideas.   Personally, I think that what happened to Pugsy's first eight husbands w...

beat me to the punch I think that it can help newbies and experienced ones alike here when you go ahead and post anything you have written, Pugsy. I hope you never delete a response you have typed out, even if you see that someone else has already responded similarly. Just sayin'. I don't mind when...

I question his doctor's "99%" assessment. A good doc knows to play along. "Oh, yeeeees. I'm absolutely suuuuuuure you got the vaccine, sir." Let's just hope Seth didn't read any further in this thread. After all, as of this writing, there is no scientifically validated way to repair a busted...

Methods can differ from trial to trial, I believe, by design: To make every injection as similar as possible in a vaccine study a good choice of placebo is the one that elicits an injection site reaction because the person is more likely to think they got the real deal. . . . The placebo could be th...

Re: OT but may be of interest to people with allergies. Male vs. female trees and "sex" between trees

Shots of pollen helped my allergies, but I had to stop after my eyes swelled almost shut immediately after a shot, which was odd because I had been on the maximum dose of shot for a while.

If I catch any diabetics around here eating honey, though, . . .

Just sayin.

Re: Lincare DME offered to sell me So Clean or other CPAP cleaning device

You get your new machine and if you still have the same problem with water consumption....post and I will respond. Now we might have to do some detective work to try to figure out what is going on and you have to be willing to be a part of that work...but we can get it done. Just to emphasize Pugsy...
