Re: how to fit zeo under a face mask
Thank you all for your help
To my surprise, I got the zeo last night and took it for a spin. It stayed on my head for about 4 hours. it produced some useful information.. I'm looking forward to keeping it on all night

how to fit zeo under a face mask
Hi Been using cpap for a while without problems I noticed some use the zeo ( advertised as the zeo personal sleep coach). Can some one give me a clue as to how you fit it under a face mask. I use a nasal mask, and the top of the mask rests on the forehead just where the zeo should be positioned TIA ...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
I had trouble getting started.. would use it intermitantly and tear it off in the middle of the night. The change for me came when I got the software and started monitoring my sleep, and that was thanks to the folks at this forum Now I use it regularly (sometimes even for naps) The difference is ama...

Re: Mask leaks around edges
I use the small nose mask from Mirage. At first I had problems. I found if I side sleep, with a pillow in front of me, i can use the pillow to exert just enough pressure on the mask to avoid leaks The other thing is that there is a hard plastic "ring" that snaps over the soft plastic gasket. If you ...

FWIIW
I use afrin, almost every night.. one squirt in just the right nostril ( hey you only need one to breathe)
The alternative, for me, is not being able to use the CPAP at all, so I decided on the lesser of two evils, So far, one year into the lesser evil, no problem

Re: Can I avoid local DMEs and go online?
FWIIW, I started with a DME and then bought a unit on cpapauction. The only "trick" was learning the secret handshake to code in the pressure . This support group gave me the answer

Re: Short Trip -not taking CPAP
I often have to travel to DC for a night or two. I don't take my cpap, it is too much of a pain to get on the shuttle. I find no adverse effects. In my case sleep apnea effects is a cumulative process, and a night or two without cpap does no harm If I go on vacation fro a week or two I take it with me

Re: At a bit of crossroads, need some advice
I've tried the Quattro. I can't get a seal with the Quattro and it irritates the bridge of nose within minutes. Back in the beginning ( when cpaps were Australian vacuum machines connected to the blowing side) they used glue the masks on. Have you tried ? I'm not sure what kind of glue they used.

Re: Apria
When I started cpap, I got equipment from Apria, and , other than providing the equipment, they did nothing, and charged the insurance company outrageous amounts. So much, that I managed to exceed the insurance company's allotment for medical equipment one year. So I decided , rather than give the m...

Re: Wrong head shape for all the headgear
One solution is to use the pillow to help keep the mask on. I sleep on my side, and a second pillow, just touching the mak, helps keep it in place

cushion falls off mask
Hi I use an "Ultra Mirage II Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear". After a while the cushion, which looks perfectly OK refuses to stay on the mask
Any simple solution? Does buying a new cushion solve this problem?
TIA
