Re: AirrSense 10 Humidiifier Question
I was told by the DME for my airsense 10 that if you don't use distilled you can use bottled and in a pinch tap. Using bottled or tap will not mess up your machine you would just need to clean out the chamber more often. For bottled I would stay away from any thing thats says mineral water. Any tim...

Re: Mouth breathing with a full face mask
I just got a new CPAP and mask. I have the same mask as you do and I love it. I have only used it for 5 nights but so far it has been great. I am a mouth breather too so I have to use a Full Face mask. The humidifier keeps me from getting congested. Are you using it? There are a lot of people here w...

Has anyone heard anything about Sleepyhead being updated for use with the ResMed AirSense 10? I really would love to use it.

Re: Dry Eye & Mask Problem
I find using "heavy duty" eye drops at night coupled with an eye mask stops all the dry eye problems that I had when I first began using CPAP. Have a look at these - I can use them with a full face mask. https://dryeyeshop.com/collections/tranquileyes I am sure I don't look very glamourous wearing ...

Re: AirrSense 10 Humidiifier Question
Thanks! You have put my mind at ease. I think I will lower the humidity tonight and see if I like it better.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

AirrSense 10 Humidiifier Question
Due to mobility problems, I have not been able to get out to get any Distilled Water. For 5 nights I have used bottled drinking water but don’t want to run the chance of damaging my CPAP. During 11 years of therapy, I have never used humidity with my therapy and am not sure I like it anyway. If I tu...

Re: Sleepyhead AHI Events During Ramp Time
Hi All. Happy to find this forum! My first question is about sleepyhead software and my ResMed Air Curve 10 st I have been diagnosed with complex sleep apnea, and have been using my machine in the VPAP st mode with a 45 minute ramp time for 67 days. Depending on the pressure settings, my average AH...

Re: Dry Eye & Mask Problem
Thanks for all the suggestions. I dug out my eye drops that never seems to help much any time of the day much less night. I will use them tonight. The lotion will be here Monday. Has anyone ever used RespLabs Medical Inc. CPAP Chap Mask Face Cream - 1.4 oz Petroleum Free, Nose & Facial Lotion? I hop...

Re: Dry Eye & Mask Problem
I use artificial tears but they don’t last long enough at night. Mask isn’t leaking either. Hopefully the lotion will help.

Dry Eye & Mask Problem
I have “dry eye” and have a constant accumulation of sleeper like crud in my eyes. No problem during the day but at night it also is on the skin under my eyes. Last night it caused an irritation on my face where my mask came in contact with it. The mask fit is still great, no leakage and very comfor...

Re: So...can't wait till Friday
If it is your heart, you do NOT want to wait. Call the office, and at least talk to a nurse or PA. I might look for a cardiologist...not sure my Nurse Practitioner Dr would know anything, and she'd probably refer me anyway. so much going on right now.....just what I need. Another health problem... ...

Re: Switching to a FF Mask
Forgot to suggest that you buy some Melatonin to help you fall asleep. I am taking 10mg a nigh t. Doc said it is safe to use. It even helped when I was waiting for my replacement CPAP but I took a higher dosage then. [/color] Interesting, My MD recommended 1-3 mg....Watch for side effects and inter...

Re: A Bit of HEAVEN! Night #1
Ain't it wonderful! I recall that after my night at the sleep center for the titration, where I slept a total of 3.5 hours I still felt so good, so much better than I had been feeling. And for me, it just keeps getting better. Sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite! Only used the new goodies fo...
