Re: Husband says CPAP is scary and unattractive...

Despite what this post will sound like, I do have a wonderful, kind husband. No, you don't, He's an absolute selfish ass. You're approaching 30 years of marriage. This also means, in the next 10 to 20 years you're approaching life stages that might require more health care needs. Believe me, there'...

Thank you
I wondered if OSCAR would be worth the bother

Re: Airsense11 bluetooth?

Your phone *may* be able to connect to your Air11 via Bluetooth, but there really is no point. If you're Android version is too old to run the App, then there is nothing functional you can do. It is the App that facilitates what can be done between the App and the Air 11. You still can access the My...

Re: "AUTO OFF" Dreamstation and Dreamstation 2

Auto off *used* to be accessible via the clinical menu. Now, it's not. It can only be accessed through Philips Care Orchestrator software, which only medical practitioners have access to. So basically you need to pay someone to turn it off or on. Why people keep buying Phillips is beyond me. For yea...

Re: Airsense 10 is 8 years old, keep using it?

The Airsense 10 was recently on sale for $399 at cpap.com ... I was debating buying one just to have as a backup. I didn't, as I think my 8+ year old machine is still working fine. Wonder if I should have. I'm cheap, as my high deductible insurance is crap! Your 8 year old machine is not going to l...

Re: Lincare told me the air curve 11 is out, is it?

There are no AirCurve 11 devices listed in their equipement.

But, if you do a searve on the Resmed site for "Aircurve 11" you will get some hits. Places like AirView compatibility,
"aircurve 11" site:resmed.com

So, IMHO, its release is immenent.

Re: Wired (or wireless) remote for Resemed Airsense 10

Nice hack!

This can also be valuable for those whose start/stop switch has broken down. A few have reported broken switches, and there are a few aging Air10, more broken switches are iminent.

Well done.

Unplug the machine for a minute. Plug it back in and hopefully the reset will help.

Re: Side Cover Cleaning for AS10 and AS11?

I don't have sidecovers on my ResMed. But, I believe the foam you're talking about is for sound abatement, and not filters. There really is no need to wash the side-cover, and I don't thing washing it with water is a problem. I would dry it as thouroughly as possiple, and then run it for a bit to bl...

3) Airsense11 seems to communicate with MyAir via Bluetooth. No it does not. Therapy data is only sent to the cloud via cellular. Air 11's use bluetooth to: provide device info to the app control features such as testdrive communicate with bluetooth oxi-devices Whether you need to have a SD card in...

Re: Issue with my Dad’s Luna G3 CPAP

Sometimes if a machine doesn't sense enough breathing the auto-off can shut it down unnecessarily. This is not how any of the machines impliment auto-off. Auto-off will turn off when they sense excess leak rates, this is how they make the determination that the mask has been taken off. When devices...

It's the Card-to-Cloud Version. Can someone tell me what that means?
It means there's no modem in it to upload your data. The only way to get your data to the cloud is by bringing your SD Card to your medical practisioners.

But it wouldn’t make much sense to upload prior to the “end of Resmed’s day”.
Why?

* Edit *

My data for today, uploaded at least an hour ago at 8:13am, almost four hours before the end of a Resmed day.
