Ok, newbie question here...why is tap water better in a CPAP than bottled drinking water?....doesn't the minerals in tap water leave a residue or maybe an aftertaste behind?

If they don't elect to do an in lab sleep test with cpap mask and machine to try to find the optimal pressure(s) they will most likely give you an apap machine (which you want anyway) that is fully data capable and use available software to find the optimal settings. Ok, so let's say I do get a Positive for SA...and I get a prescription for a CPAP, how do they figure what the settings should be? Do they guess?

Sleep Study Complete
I completed my 2 night at home study this weekend. Will turn in the device today after work. Hope they don't take too long to let me know what the outcome is.

So ive read on here that apnea and waking up to go to the bathroom are related....that I'm not actually waking up to go pee. So that is why I have to get up like 3 to 4 times....but it's always at the same time each night...I go to bed around 11...12:30 i'm getting up to pee....1:30ish...get up to pee....between 3 to 4...I'm getting up to pee. I finally do my sleep study this week.
