Same issue with me on missing those charts, "no data available", in myencore and using encore 1.6. Per recommendations from others in another thread, adjusted my preferences/settings for charts to my pressure range, same thing. I exported the data from the daily pressure chart to my desktop and ther...

I will try right clicking in the chart to see if the range can be adjusted that way. I did set the chart range in preferences to my range settings for the machine. In reviewing the chart last night, there does not appear to be any data from the days I have downloaded into encore pro (there are no da...

I just did the rental swap for an APAP. As far as I know, the "code" for APAP and CPAP are identical, so as far as the insurance company is concerned there is no difference. If your doctor wrote the prescription for the APAP and the DME is refusing to fill it, you might try to see if your insurance ...

Jim and Bill, Thanks for the replies. I will have to check on whether the information is in the encore database. I just have to read what came with the program to figure out how to do that first. I did have one other question: on the chart that shows what pressures the APAP runs at can you easily sc...

I just went through a switch in machines during the rental phase. I was originally given a S8 escape by resmed (interestingly, the doctor's prescription for the intial machine specifically noted c-flex, which is only on respironics machines). I did not make a big deal about the lack of cflex or bran...

myencore charts question

I have had the encore and myencore since 08/24/06. In reviewing the charts in myencore, three say there is "no data available" (variable breathing, seconds in apnea, average apnea duration). Do I need more information in the database for information to appear in these charts? Have I done something w...

Which type of Dr. Bronner's soap?

Have seen this recommended by a number of people and am thinking of trying it, but their website has a large assortment. Which one do you use?

Not sure how to do the link thing, but if you go the encyclopedia link at the top of the page, there is a good definition and explanation of it in there as well.

I think on the resmed machine (I used to use a S8 elite) they can reset the field for patient hours, but, if I recall correctly, in the clinical menu there is a motor hours stat as well. Maybe the DME can not reset/zero out the motor hours. Not sure about this though.

I use a standard size activa and just got the standard size ultra mirage 2 nasal mask about a week and a half ago. Both work well for me. As for a size comparison, when I tried the large UM2 v. the standard UM2 at my DME I could not really detect much of a difference (there was no leakage with eithe...

Which version of myencore for a M auto with cflex?

I should be getting my software and reader today, and want to know which version of the myencore to install. the dowload instructions from this site note version 1.04, but there was a recent thread where someone (can not remember who) noted downloading and installing myencore15b7.msi (this thread wa...

Per Den's question, once my maximum's have been reached I pay 10%. In the new year, I will pay a higher %, not sure how much (my insurance is federal blue cross/blue shield). I am increasing the amount in my FSA to cover the costs next year, so I can get most of the money back. I can get a new mask ...

I read on this forum when I first started on CPAP that Johnson's head to toe baby wash or the store brand equivalent (like Equate at Wal Mart) is used by many people because the scent if any is not strong and there are no harsh additives, chemicals etc since it is designed for infants and young chil...
