Re: resmed airsense 10 "wifi" ???

palerider, I'm setting up my new Autoset 10. It came with the modem turned on and *without* an SD card so I just bought a card (not flash, just SDHC) and put it in the machine and turned Airplane mode ON. (I don't want the modem enabled while I'm sleeping at night.) So just to confirm: If I turn Ai...

Re: resmed airsense 10 "wifi" ???

So just to confirm: If I turn Airplane mode back off during the day, my data will transmit to the DME just fine, and I can leave the SD card in the machine? Yes....Correct on both counts. Not sure just when it transmits but it will eventually get it sent to the ResMed cloud where the DME can go get...

Re: Medical Center launches innovative pilot program to screen patients for Obstructive Sleep Apnea at home

The only member here I know of who had a follow up in lab sleep study with Kaiser because it was more than basic OSA was Kaia's Gram. Hi Jan, I logged in to the forum today because I just received my new Autoset 10 and am getting up to speed on the setup, hacking into the clinical menu, etc... :) a...

Re: Had to use three extension cords

If I was to follow all the recommendations I have heard about travel with CPAP, I would need to bring, an extra mask, extra cables, extra hose, extra machine, gallon of distilled water and 3 extension cords....I'm staying home! Lol, you forgot to also include battery backup! I posted this se...

Well crap. She was someone with a potty mouth to rival mine. I am so sorry to hear this. She was a good friend. I guess she and 49er and SirNoddingOff and SnoreDog and all the others who have passed on, can sit up there and laugh their asses off at us now. I miss my surfer dude buddy SirNoddinOff, ...

Oddly enough, I am once again able to post at PT. I just posted thanks to Dr. Woods for that great post.
I understand Dr. Woods just tried to PM you to say “you’re welcome” and thank you as well :)

To the best of my knowledge, all posts (76 at present) are still accessible there. You may need to click on "NEXT" below the first page of comments and then click on "COMMENTS" again on that page in order to reach the second page of comments. Thanks, I missed that last night — I see it’s all there.

They apparently removed my comments, although I'm still receiving reply email notifications. Had you seen mine there?
I wasn't even personally offensive! Haha
Looks like Psych Today has removed quite a bit of the commentary, including some of jnk's replies.

Re: Home Remedy for Cancer

Stormy, I don't post often these days but just read your news. You were here at cpaptalk even before I joined. I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband, and now facing your daughter's diagnosis. Along this next leg of your journey please don't forget to take good care of yourself. Wishing you much ...

Re: CPAP for older user

Jack, my 91 year old mother started on CPAP this year and though she certainly doesn’t like it she does use it. I often wonder how many of her current health problems could have been avoided or minimized if she had been diagnosed years earlier. I hope your father does well with it.

Re: Air Quality affecting sleep

The air quality here is terrible--AQI in the 200's! This is smoke from the Butte County, California fires--we are 100 miles away (my heart goes out to the people in Butte County!). Schools are closed and I wear a mask during my short trip back and forth to the office. I'm not sleeping almost very m...

Re: California fires and CPAP

Just an interesting anecdote - I live in the Bay Area and as I'm sure most people are aware, there are huge fires raging in Northern California. The Bay has been enveloped in smoke for a full week now despite being over a hundred miles away from the fires. Today we reached Unhealthy levels as measu...
