Re: My AHI is between 10-15; Is it acceptable ?
Hi, My AHI was below 5 for 3 months when I started. Then it deteriorated badly, and recently it has been between 10-15. Is this normal and acceptable ? I am treating a Sinus issue, and do not know if this is the cause for higher AHI. Any advice or suggestions ? Thanks, Raymond Hello, @tmrl. Please ...

Re: Any man here that choose AirSense for Her?
You are welcome, man. Very nice job on the vocals on your youtube channel, by the way! Thank you! It's been a while since I don't record anything, but as soon as a get my CPAP and start my treatment, my next focus will be probably recording my own stuff. I'll make sure to remember to send to you an...

Re: Any man here that choose AirSense for Her?
The best side-by-side comparison of S10 and S10 For Her algorithms that I've personally seen is in the first two columns of Table 2 at the following location: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/283243231_Treatment_of_sleep-disordered_breathing_with_positive_airway_pressure_devices_Technology_...

Re: Any man here that choose AirSense for Her?
there's a good chance if you get the regular autoset that you will be bitten by the "what if" bug. What if I used that other algorithm...what if it let me feel better? You know how I know about the "what if bug"....because it has bitten me several times and why I have tried so many different things...

I don't get it. Is there any secret easter egg on the S10 that I don't know?TalonNYC wrote:Nothing funky, I just changed the minimum pressure from the original setting since I prefer it to start higher.
Maybe with some combinations can we unlock a new character like in the old arcades?

Re: Any man here that choose AirSense for Her?
Well, recently I was considering if I should really buy the AirSense AutoSet For Her insted of the default AutoSet version. I know the difference between the two algorithms, but not much about how they can really benefit (even women). The consensus is that women has some pattern differences while b...

Re: PLEASE HELP TIRED OF BEING TIRED MISERABLE!!
Hello everyone I'm new to this site. I have been using. A bipap for almost 2 years well I guess almost. I still have not gotten used to it I find myself ripping it off in the middle of the night and getting frustrated and just not using it at all. The first test I had they set me on a 24 pressure ....

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
This is going to sound crazy, but I just met someone that I really like and after we slept in bed together and held each other each while sleeping during the night my machine says no apneas! (though I've been sleeping alone the last 2 nights, we haven't moved in). It could just be a crazy coinciden...

Re: One year in and I still feel horrible
I should also add that with ambien, I actually sleep much better. I don't talk, I don't have nightmares (I have vivid, but normal weird innocuous dreams), I don't get aroused during the night and I wake up feeling refreshed and like I can tackle the world. But obviously that is not a long-term solu...

Re: Poll: Where are you from?
Maybe there is an import business in your future. Develop a decent reputation. Not sure about starting a sleep lab, the future in testing might be in home testing when the technology is better and/ or less expensive. Someone said the exact same thing on my inbox hahahahah Well, actually, the prices...

Re: Forced by job to get testing and CPAP I don't need..
I've been reading this thread with interest since your first post in Dec. Very happy to know you DON'T have sleep apnea. Some people automatically decide one has sleep apnea without hearing the official diagnosis, and insist that the person is in denial. Such is life on the forum. Thank you for the...

Re: CPAP effect wearing off?
There are a lot of problems involved when you have OSA (specially severe). Most of them are going to be solved in the long-term, but they are probably the most important. White brain cells damage (which leads specially to concentration and memory problems), hormonal problems, stress and other mood r...

Re: Poll: Where are you from?
The profile for each member has a place for location. We tend to assume USA, but as we know, there are many Canadians. It is sad when people do not choose to share their location; but that is their free choice. Many do not fill in their equipment, either--same situation. As we become aware that apn...
