Re: SleepyHead Project Undermining Attempt by AB
I was your friend, for several years, until you decided that I was your enemy because I suggested you talk to Pugsy about things that confused new users. Things that confused them then, and things that *continue* to confuse them now. I clearly forgot to add you to the foes list on CPAPTalk PaleRide...

Thanks Palerider, your supportive message is invaluable right now.

SleepyHead Project Takeover Attempt by AB
Hi guys, just a quick SleepyHead announcement: Please don't use ApneaBoard links downloading anything SleepyHead related, it's not an official source. At the moment, my sleepyhead.jedimark.net server (in Singapore) is the ONLY authorised source for SleepyHead releases until I find new mirrors (which...

Re: SleepyHead Mask Specs Needed
That mask list will be for users profiles masks only, so only they show up in Daily view's mask selection dropdown. There will perhaps be a lookup helper of the top 10/20 favourites floating around to help populate the list, but no more than that, (tbh, I ain't really got time for maintaining that l...

SleepyHead project needs volunteers to help with documentation
Hi all, The SleepyHead project needs some help from volunteers familiar with SleepyHead, Sleep Apnea topics and experienced with creating end user Documentation, who are prepared to Creative Commons/GPL their work so it can be included as a compiled Help document in the official SleepyHead releases,...

Re: Sleepyhead being BETA
Thanks for the reminder... Any fellow OpenSource geeks able to help translate, or edit wiki documentation, pull SleepyHeads GIT sourcecode and set up and build with against the Qt (as well as Annulen's QtWebkit revival) SDK's on Windows/Mac/Linux/BSD/etc, fix bugs, write new CPAP/device importers (p...

Re: Sleepyhead being BETA
Arie brought this to my attention the other day.. I can appreciate all your viewpoints on this, sometimes I just aim a little too high, and uh... miss miserably.
The next release the ugly beta tag will be gone, but what Palerider said about bugs in all software still stands :-}

Re: sleepyhead news
Yes, I'm pleased to report things are happening again, the major blocker to the code-base (namely QtWebkit being killed off with an entirely unsuitable replacement) has been resolved thanks to Annulens QtWebkit revival project. (Which I totally wish I discovered sooner, but it wasn't the only thing ...

Re: Sleepyhead Plots disabled
Could be a graphics driver issue? Is there an update available? SleepyHead may need to be explicitly run in "Performance graphics mode" if your notebook supports it, or in some cases it will try using the wrong GPU to render the OpenGL pipeline. But those "BrokenGL" builds, which should come include...

Re: Any Mac sleepyhead experts?
Hi Jason, if your SD card's not fried, you might have a newer / unseen machine variant..
If your getting a consistent fail, it's most likely something in the data itself.
Could you perhaps .zip your SD card up so I could take a look?

Re: What happened to Sleepyhead?
The jedimark.net site is legit..it's just still a work in progress, the signup stuff isn't ready, and some things I'm just evaluating... I migrated from SourceForge because they WERE trying to insert malware in software projects (not SleepyHead, because it didn't have an installer at the time), amon...

Re: SleepyHead 1.0-beta is BACK!
Thanks RobySue Yup, SleepyHeads official download page from now on is http://sleepyhead.jedimark.net , and that always will have links to the latest version available. I've tried to keep the website light, hopefully my little server doesn't choke doing it's part. If anyone can offer file mirroring s...

And SleepyHead's New Software License is...
After some careful consideration and soul searching regarding SleepyHead's licensing worries... I realised there is something worth protecting even more that just my software's copyright. The community backing it! I wrote a blog post about it here: https://www.jedimark.net/node/5 TL;DR version: The ...

Re: Seriously, this does not make me happy...
Is this why the 1.0 beta binary download was removed? I just spent my first night on a CPAP so I was excited to try SleepyHead only to find the snapshot folder empty and I'm on the DreamStation not supported in older versions (to my understanding). Shame (but understandable) if so Partly... Don't w...

Re: Seriously, this does not make me happy...
A large part of what makes me displeased about this, is that the GPL v3 license not only allows for this, but sadly encourages this kind of behaviour. I made a mistake in choosing that particular software license. (I should of listened more to Linus Torvalds and others about the GPLv3 :-} ) I love w...
