Re: Newbie pls be gentle.
Julie, do you think it's fair to say that people here can help about pretty much everything else, but OPs local rules and regulations, and we here can't push the buttons, but we can tell how?

Re: Softwear for ResMed machine???
You have two options if you have Windows: The ResMed's ResScan (needs some tricks to get) or SleepyHead (as unidee mentioned). If you have Linux or Mac, then, it's Sleepyhead.
For Linux there is no installer package, but I guess people here can help you with that (unidee, for instance).

And if you get basically no help from the doctors, the people here can súrely help.
Heck, some people here should teach the doctors.

Re: Softwear for ResMed machine???
It's recommended that you put your gear in the signature. That way you don't have to list your gear in the posting text every time.
The machine make and model is needed to give you the options.
If your machine has smart card, then SleepyHead is not for you.

Re: Pressure limit of apnea treatment?
I'm not talking about the settings, but the algorithm.
From AirSense 10 Autoset manual (For Her):
From AirSense 10 Autoset manual (For Her):
Maybe the limit for non-"for her" is still 10 cm H2O?Treats apneas up to 12 cm H2O and continues to respond to flow limitation and snore up to
20 cm H2O.

Pressure limit of apnea treatment?
I wonder if Respironics' APAP machines have pressure limits like ResMed machines have?
I also wonder that about ResMed's S9.
S8 doesn't raise the pressure over 10 cm H2O in case of apneas, and for S10 the limit is 12 cm H2O.

Yep, thanks.
I found the videos and linked them to a forum posting. That - I understand - covers all the System Ones?

SleepyHead doesn't support smart cards, if that's the problem.

Re: Respironics System One BiPAP ST?
Truckload of thanks. I think I can find some such video now that I know such videos exist. Also thanks for explaining the way the SD-card can be used. I've never seen that kind of machine myself, and I don't personally know "the lady in distress". Just trying to do what you do here, on a Finnish apn...

Re: Respironics System One BiPAP ST?
A-ha, thanks. Do you think the SD-card could still be used without possibly getting in the trouble with the sleep polyclinic? That is, do you need to detach the modem in order to insert the data card? And if, does the machine copy the collected data onto the card when the card is inserted? I recall ...

Respironics System One BiPAP ST?
Anyone familiar with the machine? Does it use SD-card or something? A fellow Finn with sleep apnea has the machine, and she said there is no place for a memory card. Any idea if a clinical manual is found somewhere? It's not so much about settings, but safe reading of data, maybe looking at the deta...
