Re: Forgot my mask!

Happened to me once. Catching a flight to attend to an out of town court hearing. Packed everything including the mask. The one I forgot was the adapter used to connect the wisp nasal mask to the tube. That was a long night. Learned my lesson and really need to pack a day before and not on the same ...

Re: mask and cheek numbness

This happened to me during my first few weeks of cpap therapy. I was on a wisp mask then. Solution was either loosen it a bit or use a padding, as everyone else mentioned here.

Good luck.

Re: Cpap mask for small faces

I'm a wisp user. It was OK for the first month but when I tried bumping up my minimum and max pressure, just like you, I was getting leaks which woke me up. The immediate solution for me back then was to tighten it and, if my nose bridge starts to get wounded/scarred, I start using home made pads. F...

Re: Remstar 560 v. Dreamstation Auto

Just what I thought too Pugsy. Thanks for confirming it.

Moreover, I just spoke with a local provider here and he himself was honest enough to say that the dreamstation was more of a cosmetic upgrade and that it didn't have anything substantial over the 560 model function wise.

Re: Diagnosed with Severe OSA for the 2nd time...

My entire life I have been told that I stop breathing while I sleep, and it was a common occurence to have jokes made in the morning about my snoring. My band stayed at a friend's house on a road trip, and the home owner was laughing while telling me she recorded me and urged me to watch the video....

Remstar 560 v. Dreamstation Auto

Hi guys, My brother was recently diagnosed with severe OSA. We are now in the market for a brand new machine for him. His doctor recommends the auto dreamstation while I recommend what I have been using for almost 2 months - the Remstar 560. Aside from the dreamstation being the newer model, what ar...

Re: Apex XT Fit Travel CPAP, Anyone have one?

I have the exact same unit as spare and travel machine. I posted a short review on another thread. I'll just repost it here for your easy reference. 1. Footprint of the unit is fantastic! Very small, portable and doesn't occupy so much space of your night table. It doesn't have any power adapter. P...

Re: What stats are important? (Sleepyhead)

Download Sleepyhead (free software) then post your screenshots so that the community can read and interpret them for you buddy. I just hope SH supports dreamstation already since it didn't before. You would have to transfer your data from your machine to the computer so that SH can get a hold of the...

Re: My Sleep Test and Cpap Results

Don't ever make any changes to anything based on results that you get when you are ill. Wait until the illness has passed and then see if the results hang around or go back to like they were before the illness. When we are ill our breathing is rarely anywhere near normal and the machine won't know ...

Re: how to purchase new auto cpap without Rx on cpap.com?

Kinda related inquiry:

If a patient has one script issued by his sleep doctor and he orders a machine from a site, such as cpap.com, would he be allowed to purchase a second, third or even fourth machine using the same script?

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Re: My Sleep Test and Cpap Results

After following the advise given to me, I've managed to lower my AHI to sub-5. During those days, I felt great! Almost no sleepiness during the day! No brain fog and etc. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e213/egzbuen/CPAP/12%20July%202016_zpsxdsbkvdb.png http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e213/egzbu...
