Re: Overnight shift
I work rotating days and nights. It's really not that hard for me. I work 6:30-7:30, either AM or PM. If I'm not tired the evening before a night shift, I stay up as late as possible- 2 or 3am, and then sleep in as late as possible. If I am tired the night before, I go to bed at an early hour, get u...

Re: Anyone watch Modern Family Tonight?
I watched it and thought it was actually pretty good. Cam's CPAP was a portable Transcend one, which is the same one I have as a backup. I think it's good to have sleep apnea out there as a real condition that needs to be treated. Too many people have never heard of it or don't know that it needs t...

Re: Time for New Machine -- Overthinking it?
One thing that you may consider, that I don't see mentioned yet, is an S9 Autoset for Her. It's pink, but otherwise functionally completely the same as the S9 Autoset- a fantastic machine. The difference is, it comes with the humidifier, and it is often on sale brand new SUBTANTIALLY cheaper than th...

Re: Question For DreamWear Users
That looks pretty good. Hard to tell- I don't look at myself from the side when I'm wearing my mask. I started with a medium frame, and I had terrible problems with the back popping off my head with any movement. I switched to the large frame and the thing stays put all night...like a dream. Sorry- ...

If you even have a digital camera that takes an SD card, you can put the SD card in the camera, plug it in with the USB cable, and use the camera as an SD card reader.

Re: Airsense 10 Autopap vs. Dreamstation Autopap
This is a very timely thread. I was at my DME today. Some of you may recall that I was contemplating for a while on getting a new Apap machine. I will continue to use the old Respironics Remstar Auto with Cflex. Noise has always been a factor and even to this day, I often struggle with mask noise a...

Re: Airsense 10 Autopap vs. Dreamstation Autopap
According to CPAP.com, the Airsense 10 Autoset is 26.6 db, and the Dreamstation Auto is 25.8 alone, or 27.9 with the humidifier.JVincent wrote:Thanks for the feedback. Okay, so they really are very similar... but how about this: Which one is quieter?

There was just a recent thread on this topic. The Airsense definitely adjusts pressure more gradually.

Re: For Sale: Brand New Resmed AirSense 10 Autoset for Her $650
This would fall into the billing for unnecessary services realm of healthcare fraud. If you didn't use the CPAP at all, obviously you didn't need it, thus it was an unneccessary service that your insurance was billed for. Insurance companies have time spans when new equipment is covered, but almost ...

My Aircurve 10 Vauto works great in the 1.0 beta of Sleepyhead, and mostly okay in the 0.9.8 testing version.
